On Tuesday, Feb 26th, a dozen Indian jets conducted air-strikes on — what New Delhi called — terrorist camps, over the Line of Control in disputed province of Kashmir. For the first time since 1971. The response was prompt: Today Pakistan announced it has shot down two Indian Air Force aircrafts, and captured two pilots. They have posted a video of alledged MiG-21 fall at the Pakistani side of the Line of Control, and the video of aircraft remains…

Islamabad also claimed it has shot down an Indian Mi-17 military helicopter crashing inside the Indian-controlled area of Kashmir, and also conducted airstrikes into Indian-held Kashmir.

Since the partition of “British India” in 1947, eventually accompanied by the creation of two independent states, India and Pakistan, the Kashmir issue has been the main cause of all major conflicts between the two countries with the exception of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 where conflict originated due to turmoil in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). But in the last 40 years, both countries has become a nuclear powers, and every their conflict now is a potential danger to whole planet.

As Saifedean Ammous has explained in his excellent book “The Bitcoin Standard”, Fiat money allows wars with no real cost to governments. Fiat money creates chaos, and this conflict is another big red stain at the interactive map of the World Conflicts. And it leads to an obvious existential choice: Bitcoin or extermination.
