First they Came After Alex Jones…

Facebook, Google and Twitter are not only censoring and harvesting your data, now they are coordinating censorship and removing any dissenting voices…

First time after the “invention” of states, Internet brought true freedom of speech. And the Web disclosed true nature of governments. Governments retaliated by targeting people (see Julian Assange), but because of it, the content revealed ever uglier face of corporate fascism which took over the states. And now we have corporation themselves, doing the policing of contents in a bid to squash freedom of speech. Coming ahead of November's midterm elections, three giant IT corporations started the worst kind of censorship imaginable — coordinated removal of any dissenting voices.

Over 800 pages at Facebook and Twitter, were shut down for… “misleading users” or “inauthentic contents”. This time, it was not “The Russians” with their evil plots. It was American and Canadian political media pages, alternative voices and even watchdog groups Filming Cops and Policing the Police…

Among them were our Dan Dicks Canadian from the @pressfortruth and Caitlin Johnstone, @caitlinjohnstone — please visit their pages and see what they have to say. Dan had a brief interview at RT, and used the chance to mention Steemit as an island of free thought. Let’s hope this will awake people who are still clinging to the centralized censorship media.

Reactions that are coming through those same media will not change anything. The only way of fight against those centralized monsters, is — abandoning the platform. They will never get it until they are left without users.

When it comes to policing the web, Google went the greatest length. They started “demonetizing” and ”shadow banning” undesirable contents on their YouTube platform, and now they are imposing 'The Good Censor' for the sake of its users! So, now you know who is ruining a good name of hypocrisy!

Maybe they should remember how history records such attempts:

Those who demanded Facebook & other Silicon Valley giants censor political content - something they didn't actually want to do - are finding that content that they themselves support & like end up being repressed. That’s what has happened to every censorship advocate in history

— Glenn Greenwald

And we all should remember German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller, who was an anti-Communist and supported Adolf Hitler's rise to power at first. When Hitler insisted on the supremacy of the state over religion, Niemöller became disillusioned, and he became the leader of a group of German clergymen opposed to Hitler. In 1937 he was arrested and eventually confined in Sachsenhausen and Dachau. He survived and in 1946 write a poem which is engraved to his tumbstone, and to this day is very popular model for describing the dangers of political apathy. You will remember it, no doubt:

First they came for the communists,
and I did not speak up because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I did not speak up, because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I did not speak up because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I did not speak up because I was a Protestant.
    Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one left to speak up.

And then, please remember this also:
