A new study of opinion magazine donations in the US shows (https://www.realclearbooks.com/articles/2018/07/06/magazine_funding_skews_left_what_can_conservatives_do_about_it.html) that the traditional domination of left/liberal views continue in the era of Trump. Liberal/left-wing publications receive nearly five times as much money (77.8%) as conservative/right-wing ones (22.2%). If Harper's and The Atlantic are included among the left-wing that domination becomes overwhelming. It does not seem possible that anything will change that short of decentralized, blockchain-based, media.
