Mercedes Classe A hybrid or electric: first fotospia
Photographed a Mercedes A Class 2018 with some details that leave us thinking of an electric or plug-in hybrid version.
That Mercedes has among its industrial plans a progressive, but massive, adoption of electrified engines has long been known and we have already told. That the next Class A 2018 may also have a hybrid or electric version is therefore very likely, but there are no official statements from the Stuttgart house.
Now, however, they come to the office of the photographs that leave just think of an electrified version of the new Mercedes Class A, although it is unclear whether it is a Class A power or a Class A plug-in hybrid . From the photos it seems a normal Class A 2018, of those that we have already shown in the past more or less disguised. But the electric lies in the details.
Details like the " Hybrid " sticker on the windshield, but not only: there is also a conspicuous " Caution! High Voltage " signal on the back seat. In addition, this forklift has two tank flaps: the normal one on the left side, common to all the A-Classes, and an additional one on the right side, which suggests a connector for electric charging .

Who will be Tesla's true competitor in the future electric car market? Who is investing more? Who already has technological solutions ready to make the electric revolution?
So all the details lead to a plug-in hybrid class A. Except one, which suggests a full electric version: there is no exhaust under the car bed. Or, at least, it is not visible. So either it's an electric Class A or the future Class A plug-in hybrid will have the exhaust covered by the rear bumper. Third hypothesis: the exhaust is there, but being a prototype not very advanced is still very short and close to the collectors.
