Some people asked me where this meme came from. Well, initially, it was an ad made by actor Jonathan Goldsmith, better known as "The Most Interestign Man In The World", for a brand of beer known as "Dos Equis". The ad showed the actor saying: "I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis". And thats how all these "I don't always..." memes began.
