🏝️ Vacations in Portugal almost ending 😭

Time goes so fast 😱 and even if you have fun and get to appreciate all the things, it's still very hard to acknowledge how quickly it goes. Although, memories are crazy invaluable things of all things in life!

Enjoy them as much as you can, store them especially under your ❤️ with lots of meaning, (re-)joy and acknowledge the powerful sources of human life proof!

Let me go through some of the amazing stuff I have had in my checklist and did already re-enjoyed ✔️

🍽️ Food

This is probably the pinnacle of my youth where this picture does not even make 0.001% of the memories this one makes me recall. But yet, these are a European/African Atlantic based species (mostly around Portugal, Spain and a bit of Africa and France), most known by the name (in Portugal) of "Percebes".

They are found on the rocks near the sea shores (where the low tide hits the rock), super RARE (now) and expensive. By the ages of my grandfather, my dad said these would be found like carpets, covering entire 20 meters rocks without you even realizing there was rock bellow. A spectacle I barely recall, but that I know to be real due to the sheer sizes that were caught by then.

A good medium size amount like the ones here seen are about 30-60 Euros/Kg. So for a good 5 Kg of it, discarding some small ones, you usually get a 3/5 of the total amount (depending on the patches you get and how well you know to catch up them). So, let's say 3 kilos, which would be a minimum of 90 Euros. Good memories that I would never thought it would become this rare... life!

Then, let's do something not 100% typical from Portugal, but that I recall huge memories from a friend from the north of Portugal that was one of my best friends when I was young during pre-university school times.

Fuet + Beer + Cheese + Bread (perfect combination)

And this "board" recalls me all of it. On top of lots of nights, ping-pong playing evenings, etc, etc! So much stuff that by the time you read this, I have already gone through that millions of times (again).

Then, further back in life... the home grown (and still as you see in the picture) bananas, from an Açores/Madeira species that has by now more than 30 years (correct me if I am wrong @ahig) of gestations and genetic natural transformations.

I think I haven't seen such big ones, as these... so they are definitely adapting to the climate, generation over generation. And these are only possible due to the dedication of @ahig. Delicious still, and I have yet to try one before going back to New Zealand... let's see if they ripe before then.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Family and Friends

I could show innumerous pictures on this section, but I have chosen not to. For family protection reasons. But I have probably more than 500 photos in less than a month. These memories are the best... 😍

This is "Mia" that lives with my parents. @defibenji would love her (but maybe not her, him... 🤣). She's much older anyhow... but a lovely girl, that one day will be more than just a dog. Maybe Miacoin? 😜

📍 Locations

Let's get to locations... around Cascais... where I lived... This is around Guincho. A place that before didn't even had sand here!

I have lots of memories here... would need a book to write those. From jumps, hurting myself, finding how to fight fears, etc. Pictures can't talk... but if they would, they would entertain you for lots of weeks 24/7!

Then, and with a more recent "discovery" (on my side), a lake/river water aquarium situation on the entrance part of the old Lisbon ex-EXPO place, that now is called "Oceanário de Lisboa". This one has now an amazing first-part entrance aquarium made entirely of non-salted water.

I have once built an aquarium with these plants. So it was quite amazing to see bigger and living species.

Especially these ones, that are quite HARD to maintain on smaller aquariums (if you care for the remaining ones LOL - poor guppies)!

Then after you drive through the on-ramp, and get into the main building, you will be fascinated with a huge aquarium filled with diversity. That I can't really make transparent here without making this post EVEN longer than this.

But kids love NEMO right? My ones did...

I love these ones... for many reasons...

Especially this species...

For last, a very mediocre view of the main tank. Here most of the species are free to interact and live in a very controlled (but naturally organized) life.

The family places I have visited are way diverse than the life I have visited on this aquarium. And that brought me so many deep memories that I can't really even give glimpses of what they mean or look like. But do their deep dive in my memory and are recognized among the friends and dear ones that live within and left us already.

The end of this venture is almost over... but it has been a true remembering. All because of one person strength. My wife! And she does not even know... 😅

😍 ATX Distribution Status + News

You all make this so fricking worth 🤩 THANK YOU... I mean, all along, the decentralized decision and ability to share the word (even if for just a few from mouth to mouth) is crazy amazing to witness. It proves that "I" (no one) can do the same anyone can.

Let's be realistic. I love to explore stuff and as I went through and shared as much as I could with the intent on bringing more to everyone, the joy I felt on discovering this kept increasing. That made all this easier to unfold.

Last time I posted about this, we had 346 ATX in the pool, representing 37% into the pool liquidity. We have now 799 ATX, representing an astonishing +69% 😛

Rewards also increased lots if you picture the amount of tokens I have added, and I might be missing other people adding them (speak up if you added please). The only I recall adding on their own is @hhguild but I am probably missing others. Sorry for that... and please do help me raise your awareness, if you did added tokens to the pool. I have added so many that I have been very distracted about others.

This translates the amazing picture I wanted to see. And one I wish you can see/use (as much as you want) with non-yet #hive users. Bring them on to #hive using this. I mean... there is very little they can loose... right?

A five (5) year distribution (and yes I am lacking a gitbook page that I am building) that will bring you clearer view of what I am trying to do here.

There is currently no other way to get ATX... besides these.

News

I am building the NFT part of the giveaway I always wanted to have, and the idea is to have my own ATX NFTs that allow you to get delegations of HIVE power.

On top of that, I am building the gitbook, I yet want to get published. But because I am on leave/vacations and doing a lot of other things for IRL work, it becomes hard to have time to this. I will get there thought. That's the part that never concerned me, and one of the reasons I am on HIVE.

The other (and final) part is that I am planning (first thing of all the above) is to upgrade my gear finally on New Zealand. And this will allow WAY more people to get into my node. Plus, I am planning on releasing a "test" version of my (currently private) HIVE node too. Again, recall that all of this is from a place of the world no other person I know has: New Zealand

Because decentralization matters!

As I always planed 🤩 and when this became a reality, I am going to be fricking happy when I achieve the end result I wanted! Will mean it took way more time, but hopefully will be a reality... a year later than I anticipated, but that will matter for the future of this blockchain decentralization.

And hopefully an influence to you all try/start yours. 💪
