Can't really deny "everyone told me so" 😆
What's this about? Well, I have been preparing for the 💩 storm of changes coming up to me in 2023, and have somehow tried to rearrange my time spent on this amazing chain, so that I can still do the stuff I love (learning mostly but also protecting and teaching when possible), while adapting to my full-time job changes.
That kicked in last month, really hard and WHAT a month it was! Can't really say it wasn't due to lack of warning by many friends and close ones. But "yay", I am still alive and going through it. It's just a matter of time 💪 for me... I CAN DO IT! 🤦♂️ - so many evil metaphors in this text my gosh. It's @forkyishere fault, not mine... he's the one making up time to mess around with my head. 🤣
The reality is time sucks sometimes, and when you are trying to manage it, you are sometimes forced to take 🤯 decisions and break through some stuff so you can achieve something, slowly progressing, but to what often I like to make a point, "you're going forward". And being positive is also super important when you are under these difficult and stressful times.
Right... I had this planned to start with an encouraging message for others and almost looks like I am about to drop a bombshell. Naahhhh!

Anyhow, the end result is that I have been much less active on the chain, and barely trying to catch up all the time. Still managing the good stuff (infrastructure) and for the ones that know me, giving up as much support as I can at this stage. Everyone has their struggles, and that's all normal and part of life. But I am as much as I can, around... 💪
My #HIVE "little" forecast + retrospective
Not having time to go through any specifics over the last few months, I think it's fair to say, that with the expansion and parallelism currently ongoing on the main and its side-chains, I sense we are getting into that FOMO arena (for the ones still not getting it, FOMO is both "Fear Of Missing Out", or "Fricking On Massive Oversight" 😄🤦♂️).
There have been multiple events of pumps and resistances, but the fact that none of those stop development and the community reaction keeps evolving despite whatever news from others, tells a story one should recall from the past. Momentum is a very powerful tool, but if you can't keep fueling it, the engine will eventually stop.
This chain has what I call, unlimited potential in terms of fuel, and to that resource, I mean, people!
Lately, and being someone that isn't properly starting on blockchain technology, I can't even cope with what I already had under my radar... and that is a sign. Admitting this is somehow frustrating, but I know, that given the community is also educating and protecting itself, creating new leaders and passing on the skills to newer generations, this is really a great signal. It certainly involves other challenges, but it's going in the right direction I would say.
I see lots of users always trying to see where they could do best to help when they find and learn more about this community. And, provided people eventually do mistakes (and that's ok), the follow-up learning phase of that journey comes with new enhancements that eventually return value to this blockchain.
The future is always somehow uncertain, but from my observation, the cumulative consensus on how this blockchain technology evolves and the way it matures with its exposure, people skills and experiences from everyone, has been something unique in the #web3 space that is transforming societies all across the world. And I want to be part of it!
