HOW TO MAKE A TASTY MAZAMORRA DE JOJOTOS CON COCO

Hello steemians, today I will show you how to make a rich porridge of jojotos with coconut (tricks of the grandmother).

Ingredients:

1- 300g of tender corn, (about 6 or 8 jojotos).
2- 1/2 pound (250 g) of coconut pulp, (1 or 2 coconuts).
3-875 ml of boiling water.
4-190g of sugar
5- 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
6- powder cinnamon.

preparation:

✪Cut the corn kernels without filling the tussa.Corte the pulp of the coconuts into small pieces (1) .Mix both and grind them.

✪ Put them in a colander and add 2 thirds of hot water (2), mix and squeeze the mixture by hand, dropping the liquid through a wire strainer.

✪Add the remaining water and repeat the operation. Strain the liquid obtained through a cloth and put it in a pot.

✪Add the sugar and salt, put on the fire and cook, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon (3), for 12 or 14 minutes until it thickens.

✪Finally, pour into a glass bowl and let cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
