This has been a dream for me to visit Boracay. I guess if money is not a problem I'd be traveling every now and then. 😂😂
Boracay is one of the top tourist destinations here in the Philippines.
For those who haven't been to the Philippines, you may check on Google or Youtube how famous this place is.
This place is crowded, even local celebrities and International celebrities already visited this place.
Way back April 26, 2018, this place has been temporarily closed for rehabilitation for 6 months.
This place has been crowded and people seem to forget to preserve the natural resources. Trash is everywhere, and the blue water seems to fade its beauty that turns into dark green.
I was so happy when Boracay started to open up and decided to buy a ticket.
Due to my job I was not able to file a leave on my desired date since it's a block out date wherein all employees can't file the vacation leave and so I decided to do it the next year.
March of 2019 I went to Boracay along with a friend.
I was so amazed by the place. We landed at the airport and waited for a Trike (motorcycle with sidecar)
We went to the Port Area and there's a specific area wherein we have to go to present our ID and show our ticket and sign the tourist sheet.
After that, we headed to the port to ride a boat to reach the Island.
We stayed at the decent hotel at Boracay Station 2.
We have a pretty decent location where the beach is just a 5-7 minute walk.
Our first day was basically just relaxing at the pool and walk on the beach and try local food of course.
On our third day, we have decided to go on island hopping and paid 1,000 pesos including lunch.
We had a nice day and had fun and did a little bit of snorkeling.
At night, we walked and have a little drink with live music, along with the other tourist.
Still, it is crowded after the rehabilitation as you can see, the beauty of this place was able to recover.
I wanted to visit this place again once it is safe to travel, but for now? It is just so good to look back on the time that I was able to enjoy the beauty of this place.
