The coachwork of this example was designed by [Mulliners of Birmingham](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulliners_(Birmingham)), I didn't know this builder before, always cool to discover new things. Thanks to the reduction in fuel tanks, two small rear seats could be installed or if the seats are folded more space for luggage. Only 451 DB2/4 *Mark I* were built. > *"The fastest automobile in the world capable of carrying two people with a month’s luggage*” - **The Motor magazine** - 1954. # Specification ![line_hive.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/heroldius/xoycoMPQ-line_hive.jpg) Named the ***Gentleman's Express***, the Aston Martin DB2/4 has 2,580 cc DOHC inline six-cylinder engine with dual SU carburettors with four-speed manual transmission producing 125 hp.
