Rebuilding HiveBuzz: The Challenges Towards Recovery

Dear Hive community,

We're happy to announce that the HiveBuzz project is back up and running after facing a significant hurdle. As many of you may know, our operations were disrupted due to a recent hack on @arcange's infrastructure, which impacted the functionality of HiveSQL, a tool crucial for our project.

In addition to the disruption caused by the hack, HiveBuzz has also encountered setbacks of its own. As a result of the incident, a portion of our infrastructure was inaccessible, necessitating a comprehensive rebuild to restart it.

The sudden downtime was unexpected and we understand the inconvenience this may have caused. Rebuilding our infrastructure was a complex and time-intensive process. This may take a few more days to be fully complete and we sincerely apologize.

We are back!

Thanks to the diligent efforts and the swift action taken by @arcange with the restoration of HiveSQL, we're thrilled to announce that the HiveBuzz project can now resume its operations. Our team is committed to providing you with the best possible experience, and we're eager to continue delivering valuable insights, engagement, and recognition to the Hive ecosystem.

Almost no badges have been lost. We are actively working on the process of rebuilding the missing data to ensure that all user badges are accurately restored. This reconstruction effort is progressing steadily, and we anticipate completing it within the next few days.

There may still be a few hiccups as we finalize the restoration process. Your feedback is welcome, so please don't hesitate to report any anomalies or issues you encounter on our Discord server. We will do our best to manage them as fast as possible.

Thank you

We want to express our gratitude to @arcange and the entire community for their support and collaboration during this challenging period.

As we now move forward, we remain focused on enhancing HiveBuzz and supporting the growth and success of the Hive community.

Thank you to all of you for your continued trust and support.

The HiveBuzz Team
