What to do if you're mistakenly excluded from the Hive airdrop

Copy of Add a heading.png

If you're here because of being in the list that was just released today by mistake, this post is for you.

First of all, I'm currently a low-ranked Steem Hive witness (active rank 119th), and I was not involved at all in the development of HF23 ("Hive"). Due to this, I'm unable to reject the defined excluded list or else I will not be a Steem Hive witness for not following consensus rules.

All accounts in the list will continue to exist (and usable) on Hive as it is but without any stake.

Appeal

At this point, it is not possible to modify the list as the release has been tagged and several witnesses have deployed the HF. If you're on the list by mistake:

  1. After the HF, create a post on Hive, explaining why you should be part of the Hive airdrop by not supporting the centralization of Steem. Include evidence that you did not vote for witnesses running v0.22.5 before the Hive announcement.
  2. Submit a proposal to the Hive Proposal System with the link to your post, and with the payout equivalent to the amount of STEEM/SP/SBD that you have in your Steem account at HF time.

If the community decides that you're eligible for the airdrop, once your proposal has been voted above the return proposal, you will receive the airdrop from the DAO.
