The journey of the Hive platform is often bumpy, but there has been some positive movement in the $HIVE price. It was stuck in the mid-teens for ages, but has now settled around 30c with a peak driven by high trading volume. So all our votes are worth more now. Be sure to use them. Talking of vote, Coingecko lets you show if you are feeling positive or negative about a coin even if you are not logged in. If you feel like voting down others then that is up to you. @coingecko also have a rewards system if you go and collect some 'Candies' each day. These can be used towards various items.
I will get on with some #FollowFriday suggestions:
- @adambarratt is a Brit who has returned to Hive after a short break. People do have other stuff going on. I met him in Lisbon at Steemfest 2.
- @ceciliakeirstead is another returnee who previously last posted in 2018!
- @aricheta is a guitar and ukulele teacher in Manila. Maybe you can get a lesson and pay her in $HIVE.
- @maverieux000 is a new Hiver from Nigeria who seems very into crypto as well as chess. Maybe he can find a good strategy for both.
- Although they post a lot @atheistrepublic are not so good at engaging with commenters. I expect they are busy on other platforms. Perhaps if they saw more activity on on their Hive posts they would check in more often. I know they get blocked on Facebook in India, so they ought to be interested in a more censorship-resistant platform.
- @lloyddavis was mainly just posting his runs via @exhaust, but it looks like he could be blogging again after a recent ADHD diagnosis.
I created a Whisky/Whiskey community this week, so it would be great to see more posts there.
I have seen quite a few people return to Hive recently. We need to make them welcome and spread the word that they are back. There are about 1.5 million accounts, but only about 20,000 active. I know a lot of accounts are not actually people, but there is lots of potential to tempt users back, especially now the price is on the rise again.
As always I welcome #FollowFriday suggestions and you are free to do your own posts. We need to connect people to those who share their interests.
