Mike Wants To Grow On Hive, Fast… But Will He?

Mike's dream was to be a famous video-game blogger on Hive.

But after 3 months of posting, he'd only gotten 22 followers, and his posts weren't earning what he expected. And worse than that, other parts of his life were stressing him out too.

Mike felt like he just didn’t get Hive, or blogging, or --though he'd never admit this out loud-- life.

  • Mike didn’t get business, branding, or content creation.
  • Mike didn’t get relationships or intimacy.
  • Mike didn’t get fitness, he didn’t get fame.
  • Mike didn’t get why some girls ghosted him.
  • Mike didn’t get why making money was so hard.
  • Mike didn’t get time-management.
  • Mike just didn’t ‘get’ life.

Frustrated, Mike went to his favorite cafe to vent about all this to his friend Alicia over an espresso.

"Alicia, I just want to grow... fast! Like, I wish there was some kind of miracle quick-grow I could sprinkle on my projects or something--"

Alicia held her palm up to shush him.

"Mike, listen. At 36, Cristiano Ronaldo still sees the benefit of a coach to continue playing world-class football. At 55, Barack Obama still needed mentors to be the President of the United States. And at 67, Oprah Winfrey still relies on Tony Robbins (and others) to stay one of the most respected people in the Entertainment industry."

"So?"

"So these great people all found mentors early, cherished them, and made sure to keep them around to this very day. What does that mean to you?"

"I don't know, that ‘teachers are good’?"

Alicia sighed in exasperation. "Yes, but it's more than that, Mike. Teachers are a blessing on the earth. They bring out the best in you. Literally. If you're not at your absolute best in any area, a coach or teacher can help with that. Ask a question, get an answer. Easy as pie. It beats spinning your wheels in failed experiments or hopeless Google searches, right?"

"Hmmm. Good point."

"Damn straight. Think about your favorite teachers in life, haven't they been a giant shortcut to success?"

Mike searched his memory. Whether it was his parents teaching him to read, or his friend teaching him gaming tips, Mike was forced to agree, teachers were hugely impactful in his growth. He left his meeting with Alicia with much food for thought, and the next day, he began searching for teachers.

Mike looked for a teacher everywhere, high and low.

Unable to find a truly great teacher in the city, he eventually started wandering the forest. Alicia had told him that no one looks for teachers in a dark, unknown forest, but Mike's gut told him to go anyway. Once there, he saw a tiny house hidden out of the way. He knocked on the door, then went inside and found nobody there. But on the dining-room table, Mike saw three smartphones.

Curious, he swiped the first one.

The screen lit up with a ‘motivational teacher'.(I bolded the whole thing but it was just missing an end quote) Could this be the answer he was looking for?

He pressed play but turned it off quickly when he realized this teacher was too soft. She was an ‘airy-fairy’ woo-woo spiritual-therapist type, and her advice mostly amounted to “be gentle, don’t worry, things take time, you’re perfect as you are.”

Mike thought “If everything was fine & on time, I wouldn’t be here! I clearly need to change something. Just tell me how! Ugh!”

Annoyed, Mike swiped the second phone’s lock screen.

It flared to life and a video from another teacher was playing, but Mike turned this one off too. Why? Because this teacher was too hard. He was a drill-sergeant-sounding guy, ranting and raving about “Hustling, grinding, and pushing through it to succeed!”

“Eww,” Mike thought, “I’m looking for answers, not a guy who sounds like my parents, telling me to just suck it up and work harder. Sheesh. Real helpful, dude.”

Finally, Mike came to the last phone.

He swiped and Hive opened up.

The screen glowed with a 3Speak video, and Mike didn’t turn it off because this teacher was juuuust right. He had fire and passion, but also radiated understanding and compassion. He was gentle in some videos, hardcore in others. He even swapped back and forth in a few. He seemed to understand life in general, but was also able to teach specific, personal situations too.

Mike smiled and scrolled through all the teacher's posts and articles. Mike felt like he could soak up this teacher's wisdom forever! Until suddenly…

He came across one that actually told him to ‘stop watching videos’ and ‘start applying them’ to his life, because tough love and practical wisdom are nothing without action.

Mike was impressed, and felt that this was the teacher who could help him grow in Hive, and life.

And who was this incredibly valuable, life-changing teacher?

It was me! J-Ryze!

(grin)

OK, so this story is obviously a fictional play on Goldilocks and The Three Bears, but the point still stands.

I love teaching and I won't sugar-coat it... I'm damn good at it.

Anyone who's read any of the articles in my back-catalog or at least the now iconic Hive-Guide I made in my first two weeks here can hopefully see that. Still, if you want to know more about my resume you can check out 'The J-Ryze Difference'.

Credentials aside, I'm writing this post as a special offer to Hivers.

What is this special offer?

Well...

You may or may not know that @cynshineonline and I run a private Facebook mastermind for rebel-preneurs. Inside, we teach people about the power of their beliefs, moods, and choices to positively impact their dreams. We teach them business growth, content creation, pitching, sales, marketing, PR, relationships, and more.

And we've had a few Hivers show interest in our exclusive group, but...

We also noticed that Hivers really don't like centralized social media.
(Understandably so, lol.) And even when they join the group they're not too active because they don't use Facebook often so they don't get as much value as others who are more active on there.

And we love to bring value, so...

We’re offering a Discord class specifically and exclusively to help Hivers.

We want to make every guest who joins extra successful. Which means, for guests to receive as much of our personal attention and care as possible, we'll only be accepting 5 people for this limited event.

During the class we'll be discussing:

  • Growing Your Audience On Hive To Make More Impact
  • Content Creation (How To Get More Upvotes, Attention, & Rewards)
  • The RISC Process For Excellence (Research, Inspect, Steal, & Create)
  • Persuasion 101 (Most Creators Neglect This And Pay Dearly)
  • Plus, we encourage any questions on any topics you want.

If you’re eager to #RyzeUp towards your dreams, I'll happily help you with whatever specific issue you’d like to discuss. This will be a very interactive class.

All that said, this isn't for everyone.

Some people want to learn but aren't open to applying what they learn. And we’re focused on helping those who are ready to apply what’s being taught. Because of this, Cyn and I are hand-picking people who are more open and receptive to learning. (Maybe someone like you?)

If you’re curious what others have said about learning from me, you can check our (giant) testimonial page. I've helped change countless lives and helped so many people. And here’s a quick sample:

Sound good? Ready to sign-up?

This 2-hour class will be held on our private Discord server on September 1st, 2021 at 7pm EST, for $97 (USD or HBD). We accept Paypal or HBD Transfer. Once you’ve sent the funds, let us know. We’ll then confirm receipt and send you your personal discord invitation. Then all you have to do is join the voice channel ‘Ryzing Hivers’ when the event launches and we’re good to go!

If this sounds great and you'd like the sign-up link, please let Cyn or I know in the comments, or if you have any questions, we’re happy to answer them.
