It felt like a year of house arrest. Instead of Ankle Bracelets we have cell phones. I have never been in such a dilemma. Laid off not for lack of work! I never prepared for an entire year of lockdown. Not only did the establishment take away millions of jobs from people by force, you had to pay for your house arrest out of pocket with the exception of stimulus checks. Which hopefully your monthly budget was low enough to survive on Stimulus money and unemployment.
Never again, Fxck No! The future is going to involve a 40 hr work week (if they exist anymore), and a crypto investment wallet to survive this ever sketchy job market. Hive is my investment of choice and it personally fits my economic situation. I'm also new to the investing part of Hive. The cool thing about Hive is that you can snoop in peoples wallets. You can learn quite a bit looking at what other people are up to😃
For me to invest I had to believe in a future. I am so sick of the Hell a that a Corporate Centralized Financial system thrives on. Under a Centralized system the game is rigged and winners are predetermined. Under the control of Centralization I am a Fatalist . Once you understand the true spirit and essence of Decentralized Finances your Fatalist attitude will fade away and it will give you faith again that a future is possible.
If I have any advice for someone starting out I would say do not be frustrated with a short stack. Do not say to yourself,"at this rate I will only have a few dollars, what's the point of investing? it will take a lifetime to get anywhere". Stop right there! you don't know what the future holds, it's fatalism trying to subvert a possible future of economic independence. Make the effort and you will be pleasantly surprised how the Universe will return that positive energy. Lastly I would advise you not to judge or compare your account and it's growth by other peoples stacks. Crypto magic lies in the fact you can purchase fractions. This makes crypto investing scalable to almost any income. You can invest $20.00 or less and get the feel for Hive and the blockchain learning curve. Hive is definitely an opportunity for people who believe they are priced out of the investing market. Try setting a weekly goal of 20$ even If you have to dip into your black budget vice money. You don't have to confess to me, but if you spent 20$ a month on the lottery you may want to consider dropping that on Hive instead.
