5 Interesting Things If Hive Could deliver - Hive Blockchain Beyond Social Media

I was inspired by Blockchain technology with the notion that maybe one day we could have a Global government where money, rules, and laws are decentralized, I wanted to start my project, but because of the technical and financial roadblocks, It is just ended up on a paper without any execution.

Now I see Hive as something that could potentially make my dreams come true, and here are things that I am wondering if are possible to implement on Hive Blockchain.

Hive Blockchain on the streets

I know hive is designed and customized specially for social media networking but has it ever occur to you that this is a very good foundation for Hive to actually walk on streets?

Here is what do I mean by this?

Hive for Cash & Transaction

In my opinion, Bitcoin is still struggling with the adaptation as a global currency. Of course, I know there are bitcoin ATMs but it is still struggling, especially in the developed countries as everything is owned by big corporations which are centralized.

From getting breakfast to filling up gas, buying clothing, paying rent, and so on, this is the problem, because once you control the 5 basic human needs or in the list 3 basic needs then you can control the person. But if the supply is in the hands of people then bitcoin would have been implemented everywhere by now.

Unlike bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, on Hive blockchain a person has an account with a reputation. So instead of waiting for ATMs and other third parties, why not leverage the power of the people, by making people become agents for cash in or out? By using local Hive holders who are willing to exchange hive for cash for a small fee, this would expand exponentially as opposed to wait for adaptation.

The app will be simple, where anyone can become an agent, where, everyone who uses these agents can leave a review and the level of their trustworthiness. If anyone can sell their stuff on craigslist, Kijiji, Facebook market, and so on for cash, why would Hive-for-cash be any different?

Hive Marketplace.

If you think of Facebook Marketplace, Craiglist, Kijiji, Etsy, Amazon, and so on, what do they have in common? a MarketPlace. Would be cool, if I can purchase other stuff using my hive credits directly without worrying about the tedious process of cashing the money. While at the same I can upvote, share and leave a review for a seller.

Unlike craigslist, hive will keep track of those untrusted, scammers and contractors who don't pay people.

This will open up also the possibility of restaurants and other social places to get reviews and recommendations. It will allow small businesses to accept online payments easily.

Hive for Transport.

Remember once hive goes social, it means social interaction, Think about apps like Uber, Lyft, and the likes, Would Hive be able to deliver such apps that we can use these hive credits that we acquire from our social interaction. From daily commuting, moving, even commercial transportation. The good thing about this is the reviews and customer rating. Maybe eventually public transportation would adopt this?

Hive for Hosting

Would be nice to see a hive app like Airbnb that utilizes the power of hive, again instead of worrying about trading your hive credits for cash, would be nice to just pay directly when you are traveling, or if you are a host to just pay directly from your hive wallet.

Hive for startups

There are lots of inventive minds around the globe, the problem is access to money because the hive is decentralized, would be nice to see an app like Kickstarter that would allow to evaluate someone's proposals and let publish contribute or invest a certain percentage of that project by using their hive wallet.

Wrap things up

As I continue exploring Hive blockchain I am begining to see the unlimited possibilities of bringing some good to society. The question remains if the adaptability will pick up. Maybe it all depends on how much we believe in the project itself? Time will tell.
