Yesterday I made a detailed post about the HIVE supply for the overall period 2016-2021. It gives a nice overall picture.
But 2021 is where the interesting action about HIVE lowering its supply is happening so here it is zoomed in.

This is VIRTUAL HIVE supply, HBD included.
What is interesting is that the supply was low in April as well, when there was no conversions HIVE to HBD. The thing is that at that point the price of HIVE increased to almost 1$, and there was very small amount of HBD around so the virtual supply was at its lowest.
Without the HBD to HIVE virtual share, the "raw" HIVE supply chart for 2021 looks like this.
