The Daily Meme #171!

How you liking the linear rewards?
I'm not sold on them.
I liked the n2 with a cap on voting strength.

I think we could bring that back, if we could get the folks with votes larger than 500mv to limit their vote power.
They could vote as many as they wanted, just none over ~7.5htu.

This has already been tested, and rejected, during the whale experiment before hf17.

Every little voter was happy as hell, but the big voters vetoed it and forced us into submission for the next few years.

Well, those folks are gone, or have moderated their stances.

Punishing people for not finding content on the first day is suboptimal, for me.

I would rather see an n1.0001, or some such, to test something besides straight linear.

I'm gonna call what we have better than what we had prior to hf25, but I'm less than enthused by what I am seeing post hf25.

How about you, dear reader?

Is double the curation rewards and more author rewards enough, or do you see things that need to be changed, too?

These are public rooms managed by private people for the benefit of everybody using this blockchain.
What they do is voluntary, but openly public.
Don't abuse their willingness to work for the collective for what little we give them, eh?
Without them, none of this exists.

When you go through these rooms catching up on 'the community', be sure to look for the detective, and add your detective, too!
