MY SON'S NEW YEAR HANDMADE DECORATION

Was the New Year on the 31st of December?
Yes and no:)
In my place we've 2 New Years! It sounds crazy but it is really so;)
We had a different calendar many years ago, and at that time the New Year was celebrated these days, when dates were shifted it appeared to be the 13-14 of January, so we call it the Old New Year;)
we don't celebrate it too loud, but still we all remember about it and make congratulations to each other.

My son made a nice wall or door decoration devoted to it.

We need:

  • tinsel
  • something round
  • thick paper
  • some winter decorations

At first he used a filament holder left from our 3D-printing;)
He made an ideal circle using it.

Then he made a smaller one inside of the first circle.

Then he cut them creating a basis for the future wall decoration.

Usinf tinsel he decorated his paper circle.

And then he needed just to put there some winter tips to make it better and brighter.

Ready!

We both liked the result!
