Hello Hive community, today, I will present to you, a didactic game, made with useful material, called: Letter Game, To Learn To Read And Write. This wonderful game, I consider it very fruitful, to teach our children to read and write, through the letter game.
The game consists of the following. In the upper part of the box, there are some small holes, through which the letters will be inserted, forming the words, which are presented to them and in turn, a paper is placed on them, so that they can write the word and pronounce them.
I played this game to my grandson, who is 4 years old, in order that he learn to recognize letters and since he already recognizes vowels, he is being taught to recognize short words (of 4 letters), like mom, dad, house, bed, cloud, boat, dough, and so on, introducing him to the process of learning to read and write, short words. It is important to introduce the child to this learning, through a playful activity, which motivated and encouraged him and saw it as something recreational.
Next, he presented them, the materials and steps for its elaboration:
Hola comunidad de Hive, el día de hoy, les, presentaré, un juego didáctico, elaborado con material de provecho, denominado: Juego De Letras, Para Aprender A Leer Y Escribir. Este maravilloso juego, lo considero muy fructífero, para enseñar a nuestros niños, a leer y escribir, a través del juego de letra.
El juego consiste en lo siguiente. En la parte superior de la caja, están unos pequeños orificios, por donde introducirán las letras, formando las palabras, que se le presenten y a su vez, se le coloca un papel, para que escriban la palabra y que las pronuncien.
Le realicé, este juego a mi nieto, que tiene 4 años, con el fin, de que aprenda a reconocer las letras y como ya reconoce las vocales, se le está enseñando, a reconocer palabras cortas (de 4 letras), como mamá, papá, casa, cama, nube, bote, masa y así, irlo introduciendo, al proceso, de aprender a leer y escribir, palabras cortas. Es importante, introducir al niño, a este aprendizaje, mediante una actividad lúdica, que lo motivé e incentivé y lo vea como algo recreativo.
A continuación, les presentó, los materiales y pasos para su elaboración:
Materials:
• 1 small cardboard box
• 2 manila folders or cardboard
• Stapler
• Knife
• Scissor
• Exactly
• Pencil
• Rule
• Curve scissors (if desired)
• Markers
• White sheets
• White glue
• Silicone
• skewer sticks
• A lid to make the circles
• A sheet of acetate or plastic
Materiales:
• 1 caja de cartón pequeña

Step 1:
In the manila folder or cardboard, make circles, with the help of a cover (or compass), cut them out and write letters that help form words (adapted to the age and level of study). In my house, as it is for the initial stage, with easy letters, to teach simple words, the letters to write them double, to facilitate, the obtaining, of short words, of 4 letters.
Paso 1:
En la carpeta manila o cartulina, elaborar círculos, con la ayuda de una tapa ( o compás) , recortarlos y escribir letras, que ayuden a formar palabras ( adaptada a la edad y nivel de estudio). En mi casa, como es para la etapa inicial, con letras fáciles, para enseñar palabras sencilla, las letras escribirlas dobles, para facilitar, la obtención, de las palabras cortas, de 4 letras.
Step 2:
Cut the toothpicks, in 3 equal parts, so that they are of a viable size and glue with silicone, the elaborated letters, in the circles.
Paso 2:
Cortar los palillos, en 3 partes iguales, para que sean de un tamaño viable y pegar con silicón, las letras elaboradas, en los círculos.
Step 3:
Reduce the box, to make it narrower, cut it and line it with sheets of white paper, with a piece of cardboard, make a paral, to make the box more firm, glue it with staple and silicone; open small holes, in the upper part of the box, to insert the toothpicks with the letters, in order to form the words.
Paso 3:
Reducir la caja, para hacerla más angosta, recortarla y forrarlas con hojas de papel blanco, con un retazo de cartón, elaborarle un paral, para que quede más firme la caja, pegarla con grapa y silicón; abrir orificios pequeños, en la parte superior de caja, para introducir los palillos con las letras, para así formar las palabras.
Step 4:
Cut out a sheet of acetate or plastic and glue it with silicone, to the front of the box, forming a pocket, which will serve to insert the cards with the words, (making themselves visible), that the children are going to form, it is, it will also serve , of deposited, to keep the cards.
Paso 4:
Recortar, una lámina de acetato o plástico y pegarla con silicón, al frente de la caja, formando un bolsillo, que servirá, para introducir las tarjetas con las palabras, (haciéndose visibles), que los niños van a formar, está, servirá también, de depositó, para guardar las tarjetas.
Step 5:
Cut rectangles, from the manila folder or cardboard, with the measure of the elaborated pocket, which will be the cards, where the 4-letter words will be written, that the children will form, with the letters of the circles and will write on a sheet, to thus, learn to read and write them
Paso 5:
Cortar rectángulos, de la carpeta manila o cartulina, con la medida del bolsillo elaborado, que será las tarjetas, donde estarán escritas, la palabras de 4 letras, que los niños formaran, con las letras de los círculos y escribirán en una hoja, para así, aprender a leerlas y escribirlas
Thus, our Letter Game, To Learn To Read And Write, would be ready with which, using letters from the circles, form the words, which are presented to you on the card, which is located in your pocket, too. They can write them, draw them and combine the letters, such as: HOME, BED, MOM, MASS, etc., and realize, as by changing letters, they can obtain different words.
Así, estaría listo, nuestro Juego De Letras, Para Aprender A Leer Y Escribir, con el cual, utilizando, letras de los círculos, formar las palabras, que se le presentan en la tarjeta, que se les ubica, en el bolsillo, también pueden escribirlas, dibujarlas y combinar las letras, como por ejemplo: CASA, CAMA, MAMA, MASA, etc., y se den cuenta, como cambiando letras, pueden obtener diferentes palabras.
