Home Education Curation Collection. 8th November 2020

Going through the comments and interactions on posts this week has been much longer winded than usual, which is excellent news! I'd like to thank @bashadow at this point for a generous donation of ENGAGE tokens, which have meant that I could transfer enough to the HomeEdders account, much sooner than I'd expected, to call it up on comments for extra reward.

Thank you everyone for your engagement on the posts in the HomeEdders community. We had three people who commented on more than one post: @cmplxty, who reached five others, @ryivhnn who reached three and @arrliinn who reached two. They have been sent 3, 2 and 1 Hive as a thank you from the community account.

This week we seemed to have a theme going in the community about making learning fun. Children don't necessarily take to all subjects, but if they can be engaged in the right way they might find that it was more fun than they expected. First up, @romeskie shares how she made reading more fun with fairy wands.

@kobold-djawa has been enjoying her 3 year old daughter's fascination with maths and finding different objects they can add together.

@arrliinn has been proud of her son who has made progress in his skills now they've find ways to engage him with things he thought he didn't like.

@sumatranate shares thoughts on homeschooling and how the quarantine has highlighted the importance of community to so many aspects of our lives.

If you're in need of some more learning ideas, @libertyacademy has another literary themed lesson package based on the story of Sleeping Beauty.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have chosen @romeskie to be a 10% beneficiary of this post, and have added in another beneficiary for @summertooth for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
