“We should have just turned that ship in fifty years ago when we found it.” Wixer shook his head. Regret was starting to seep in slowly. He rubbed his temple and adjusted his glasses.

“Turned it to who exactly? The government? Do you believe they would have been any good?” Wonka flipped. Irritation replaced his firm gaze.

“Well, at least we would not be carrying this burden all alone. This is all so overwhelming. A portal, a new planet, unexplained abilities, and what next?” Blanco was starting to raise his voice. He took off his iron mask and set it on the table beside him. “We are getting old for this shit. I think it's time to call it quits.”

“Fifty years and you are still that little hesitant timid boy. I guess you can't take the farm out of the boy.” Wonka charged. He took off his silver mask before rubbing the creases on his face. “I do not regret getting on the ship that night. I still wonder what life would have been for me in that orphanage. I still hear them call me Willy.” Wonka closed his eyes. He began to drift into memory lane.

“This is Willy Wonka. He is one of our brightest kids. He appears a little firm but he is very reserved and kind.” Madame Pomhprey was speaking to a young couple when Willy walked into her office.

Willy was now very used to rejection at the orphanage home. He never fit the prospects of parents seeking to adopt kids. At age ten, he was neither too young nor too old. He was stuck between but that didn't seem to bother him anymore.

Willy would spend his time playing video games with the library computer. When he wasn't playing, he was immersing himself in science textbooks.

That night, Willy sat up under his sheets with a torch reading a book on game prototypes when he saw it. Willy had developed an interest not just in playing games but in making them. He didn't know how but he was certain that one day, he'd be a game developer.

A soft green glow permeated from the darkness outside through the orphanage dormitory. Willy ignored it at first but the light kept pulsating and it made him restless. He jumped off his bunk bed and began creeping. He was trying not to wake the other boys who were fast asleep.

Soon, Willy was outside the building by the window. He came to where the light was. Willy bent down to find a metal wristband with strange inscriptions on it. As soon as he picked it up, it automatically clenched on his wrist. Will's eyes popped in astonishment.

Willy wore long sleeves to hide this band for the next three days while observing it. It wouldn't come off his arm no matter how hard he tried. One night, the light from the band kept pulsating until Willy couldn't sleep. He sat up on his bed only to notice that there was an LED display coming from the band. It showed coordinates to a location.

Willy’s blood rushed. He had wished for an adventure like the games he played all his life. “Is this real?” He whispered before racing out of the building. Through the thick thorns of the forest surrounding their building, Willy now found himself miles away from the orphanage. He was headed north.

As he got closer to the location, the light from his band got brighter. So did the clearing he was now approaching. The light was blinding. Willy tried to shield his eyes with his hands when he saw two other boys to the west and east. They both had the same kind of metal bands on their wrists.

All three boys were now in front of this huge mass of bright light. Soon, the brightness began to dim to reveal an object. It looked like something out of this world, a vessel.

“What is this? I only followed the wristband here from our farm.” The frightened boy among the trio, Blanco spoke first.

“That's clearly a spaceship and it is obvious that the three of us got here following the coordinates on these bands. The question is, how did it get here, and why the three of us?” Wixer, the third boy with glasses sitting on his nose bridge, spoke with so much confidence and self-control.

“Well, going in is the only way to find out.” Willy began stepping towards the ship. Before he could go any further he noticed three access print points with names on them. Willy pressed his palm against his name. The other boys did too and at that moment, the hatch opened revealing something very extraordinary.

The boys rushed in to explore the discovery. They were now looking at a very intricate and sophisticated array of advanced technology well into the future. It was out of this world and time and they knew it. With no visible origin of the ship, It felt as though it was a gift from the universe.

“Wow! This… this is something out of this world. Technology intrigues me.” Wixer had begun touching wires, cords, and monitors.

“Games are my happy place,” Willy announced.

“And the human mind is my forte.” Blanco was almost whispering.

The boys exchanged glances.

“This is no accident. The universe has chosen us.” Wixer’s excitement was contagious. “This is the start of something big. I can feel it.” His eyes popped.

“Together, we are going to create magic. With this technology, we will create games that are going to explore uncharted territories of human potential. We will unlock latent potentials within the human mind.” Willy let out an almost hysterical laughter.

“Then we shall be called the organization,” Blanco added with an innocent smile.

“The organization as you gracefully named us is all I have. I have given my entire life to this cause and I'm not going to quit now. I'd be nothing without it…Little orphaned Willy.“ Mr. Wonka stared at Blanco for a moment before getting up to leave the room.
