Welcome to this presentation where I will be describing a little about my vision of Sitka and how I perceive the story in the novel Sitka's world, try to make a complement of my own about the story highlighting what has been described so far of the character.
Sitka was a very sweet, cheerful and jovial girl who was born in a small cottage on the outskirts of the city of Elm, she had long brown hair with light brown eyes and white complexion, from a very young age she was very spoiled by her parents, her mother was a midwife who in those days were the people who helped in childbirth to couples, Her father was a farmer who was mainly in charge of milking the cows and with that milk he made cheese to consume and sell, together with her mother he had several colonies of bees near a tree a few meters from the house, which served them to collect honey, we had a German shepherd dog named Leif with white colors and black spots.
The girl although she was raised in the countryside, always had the virtue of learning to help other people, that was her dream to be recognized for her humility and love to other people although she did not know yet how she was going to do it, it was not until one day she saw while playing nearby in a field near her home a group of women in long white dresses with a kind of cassock on their heads passed by her house, she called her attention and followed them to a cottage not far from hers where she knew that a young couple lived with their son, But as she approached the house she could hear some very loud screams as if a woman was going through an immeasurable pain, she with some fear kept approaching because she wanted to know what was going on, as she approached the window she could see that the young couple's wife was pregnant and was about to give birth, She could see the woman's face of anguish, but she could also see how sweet and understanding the people in white dresses who had passed by where she was playing were, those treatments calmed the woman so much that in spite of the pain her countenance changed, and she wondered if that was what her mother was doing.
Bienvenidos a esta presentacion donde le estare describiendo un poco sobre mi vision de Sitka y como percibo la historia en la novela el mundo de Sitka, trate de hacer un complemento propio sobre la historia resaltando lo descrito hasta ahora del personaje.
Sitka era una niña muy dulce, alegre y jovial que nació en una pequeña cabaña a las afueras de la ciudad de Elm, ella tenía cabello castaño y largo con unos ojos marrones claros y tez blanca, desde muy pequeña fue bastante consentida por sus padres, su madre era una comadrona que en aquellos tiempos eran las personas que ayudaban en los partos a las parejas, su padre era agricultor principalmente se encargaba de ordeñar las vacas y con esa leche realizaba quesos para consumir y vender, igual junto con su mamá tenía varias colonias de abejas cerca de un árbol a unos cuantos metros de la casa, que les servía para recolectar miel, teníamos un perro pastor alemán llamado Leif de colores blanco y manchas negras.
La niña aunque fue criada en el campo, siempre tuvo la virtud de aprender a ayudar a otras personas, ese era el sueño de ella ser reconocida por su humildad y amor a otras personas aunque desconocía aún como lo iba a hacer, no fue hasta que un día vio mientras jugaba cerca en un campo cercano a su hogar a un grupo de mujeres con vestidos largos y blancos con una especie de sotana en la cabeza pasaron por su casa, ella le llamo mucho la atención y las siguió hasta una cabaña no muy lejos de la suya donde ella sabía que Vivían una pareja joven con su hijo, pero al acercarse a la casa pudo escuchar unos gritos bastantes fuertes como si una mujer estuviera pasando por un dolor inconmensurable, ella con algo de miedo se siguió acercando porque quería saber qué es lo que estaba pasando, al acercarse a la ventana pudo notar que la mujer de la joven pareja estaba embarazada y estaba a punto de dar a luz, ella podía ver la cara de angustia de la mujer, pero también se pudo ver lo dulce y comprensiva que eran las personas de vestidos blancos que habían pasado por donde jugaba, esos tratos calmaron a la mujer bastantes tanto que a pesar del dolor su semblante en la cara cambio, y ella tuvo la incógnita si eso era lo que su mamá hacía.
She ran home, she was a very energetic girl when she arrived, all sweaty and tired, she started to look for her mother, but when she couldn't find her, she went to her father and started to describe what she had seen, he just smiled and told her that those were the midwives, what her mother did, When she heard that, her face lit up and she knew what she wanted to be, what she was really passionate about and what would help other people, she was going to be a midwife, when her mom got home, she arrived with the same clothes of the women she had seen, the girl smiled, hugged her mom and told her that she wanted to be like her when she grew up, her mom gave her a kiss and smiled, she exclaimed "That's how it will be, daughter".
Her neighbor's name was Aaryal, she lived in a cabin near hers, they were friends, they played sometimes in the field, although her best friend was called Natalya, a shy and distracted girl, but she was very close to Sitka, although she lived far away from Sitka she always visited her and even more when they both went down to Elm town to sell their items so that the family could survive, Sitka together with her father sold cheese and honey and she together with her father sold handmade knives, from there a great friendship grew, Sitka always told her that she wanted to become a midwife in the Sarona academy was her great dream, when she heard that she also wanted to do it to follow her only friend Sitka.

Salió corriendo a su casa era una niña bastante enérgica al llegar, toda sudada y cansada empezó a buscar a su mamá, pero al no encontrarla fue a donde su papá y empezó a describirle lo que ella había visto, él solo le sonrió y le dijo que esa eran las comadronas, a lo que se dedicaba su mamá, ella al escuchar eso se le iluminó la cara ya sabía lo que ella quería ser lo que en verdad la apasionaba y servía para ayudar a otras personas iba a hacer comadrona, al llegar a casa su mamá, ella llegó con la misma vestimenta de las mujeres que había visto, la niña sonrió abrazo a su mamá y le dijo que quería hacer como ella cuando creciera, su mamá le dio un beso y sonrió, le exclamo Así será hija.
Su vecina se llamaba Aaryal vivía en una cabaña cerca de la suya eran amigas, jugaban a veces en el campo, aunque su mejor amiga se llamaba Natalya una niña un tanto tímida y distraída, pero que era muy cercana a Sitka, ella aunque vivía algo lejos de Sitka siempre la visitaba y más cuando las dos bajaban al pueblo de Elm a vender sus artículos para que la familia pudiera sobrevivir, Sitka vendía junto con su padre queso y miel y ella junto con su padre cuchillos artesanales, de allí salió una gran amistad, Sitka siempre le contaba que quería hacer comadrona en la academia Sarona era su gran sueño, al escuchar eso ella también quiso hacerlo para seguir a su única amiga Sitka

But everything changed a few years later the events are still not clear at all Sitka as she wanted to be a midwife accompanied her mother to a birth nothing of the other world, in a small hut far north of the village in a rather gloomy forest, was a somewhat older couple who were going to have their first child, the birth was quite normal, but at the time of birth the child was stillborn, Then the mother of the dead child cursed her and the child for what had happened, days later a strange fever covered with death all the villages north of the kingdom and began to spread the rumor that it was the fault of the mother and child, giving to understand that they were cursed, there his mother and his sister Eska became ill with that fever and succumbed a few days later, affecting quite the family of Sitka.
Sitka aparte de sus padres tenía una hermana llamada Eska una niña igual de dulce pero de mayor carácter a Sitka, y tenía una tía llamada Skien, ella tenía un gran parecido a su mamá, pero ella no era comadrona ella era más una bruja, era lo más cercano a la magia que existía en ese reino a pesar de que estaba prohibida, pero la tía era una persona bastante gentil, su cabaña igual que el pueblo de Elm quedaba al norte del reino, al sur del mismo se encontraban los nobles y la clase más pudiente de allá, así que tenían prohibido ir muy al sur, pero ellos no les importaba porque Vivían felices así como estaban.
Pero todo cambio unos años después los sucesos aún no están claros del todo Sitka como quería ser comadrona acompaño a su mamá a una parto nada del otro mundo, en una pequeña cabaña bastante al norte del pueblo en un bosque bastante sombrío, era una pareja algo mayor que iban a tener a su primer hijo, el nacimiento iba bastante normal, pero al momento de nacer el niño nació muerto, entonces la madre del niño muerto maldijo a ella y a la niña por lo que había pasado, días después una extraña fiebre cubrió de muerte todos los pueblos al norte del reino y se empezó a correr el rumor que era culpa de la madre y la niña, dándole a entender que estaban malditas, allí su madre y su hermana Eska se enfermaron con esa fiebre y sucumbieron a los pocos días después, afectando bastante a la familia de Sitka.
