A Seasonal Blessing To A Family. #iucontest 07

This is my entry for the #iucontest week 7. The theme for this week’s contest is Acts Of Kindness. The link to the contest is here

Late last year, during the time Christmas àcelebrations were going on. There lived a family around us. There were clergy. They didn't have much money so they did not buy Christmas clothes for the children. Even the Christmas food others were preparing wasn't coming forth for them because they were not very boryant.

Then some people came along and showed them kindness. A week to the Christmas day, a lady who makes dresses prepared three sets of dresses (each for each of the children) and brought them to the family. That was a great act of kindness. The children were very happy. They celebrated their new dresses.

As if that was not enough, about three days later, another person bought some yards of fabric for the children to make another dress. That family was blessed with acts of kindness. The children who had no hope of new dresses became owners of two sets of dresses for Christmas.

The act of kindness that came into the family caused them to be happy. Acts of kindness can illuminate someone’s life. It can put laughter on the face of someone who was sorrowful. The father and mother were happy that the joy of their children was fulfilled.

The Christmas day came. Those children were beautifully dressed. They came to church very early. They came joyfully. The parents were equally happy. Why the parents were happy is because it is the children happiness that usually counts most in seasons like this. What most of the parents usually struggle for is how to buy new clothes for their children to use for the celebration.

That wasn't just all. On the Christmas eve, two different people blessed them with two big live chickens. Another woman brought rice and other foodstuffs. The mother was happy. They did just have new dresses for their children, they had food with chicken to celebrate their Christmas.

This family is my perfect model to use for making this entry. It is customary that people give gifts to church clergymen during Christmas and Easter seasons. But without kindness in someone's heart, they might not be able to do that. This story is not just true but evidence that in our days people are still showing kindness to others.
