MY COUNTRY AND ITS LEVEL OF SAFETY….

source

The country has been in a state of turmoil and crisis since decades ago, trusting our governments and leaders with our safety will be a very big mistake at this point in time. A lot has been happening in this part of the world for many years now, even amidst this turmoil and crisis, we the citizens of this country have been able to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe from the dangers and threats looming over our nation, our safety can only be guaranteed by our own actions and not by that of governments, they have always been unserious with matters involving our safety, and I don’t think that’s gonna change anytime soon, the more we depend on them the more we get affected upon their failure…

It’s been few days since the conclusion of the mass protests in my country. The truth is that anything relating to protests, be it peaceful or violent, they have always ended in just one thing, and that is in the ”deaths of countless innocent civilians who just want a peaceful life and a peaceful country”

HOW SAFE IS MY COUNTRY??…

The bitter truth about my country is the fact that there’s no guaranteed safety anywhere, which means if you work around aimlessly, there’s a chance of one not returning home in full and that depends solely on one’s movement. This is a preview of what my country looks like…

Many of us have been able to survive this long because of our survival skills and instincts, safety is not hundred percent guaranteed in my country, only few states have the luxury of safety to an extent, which means no place in my country is hundred percent safe, but in my side of the country, we are safe over here to an extent, thanks to different neighborhood cops and vigilantes…

I am privileged to dwell in this part of my country which is safe to an extent, thanks to the privilege of being born and raised in this country and that too in this part of my country, i was opportuned to learn different survival techniques, one that has helped me live another day during turbulent times…

I live in the downtown area of my country, the part where i live is quite far to the express road, it is the best definition of local area. My area is filled with lot of petty criminals and because of the high rate of criminal activities in this part of the state, the leaders of my community have been forced to take extreme measures just to keep lives and properties safe, and now we have vigilantes working day and night to keep our community safe while we sleep and live a good life…

DO I LOVE TO BE HERE???…

This is indeed a very interesting question. I am a little bit skeptical though, but if i am to answer truthfully, i think i love being here, and that is because i was born and raised in this country, and i have lived all my life doing all sorts of beautiful and wonderful things, all of which has contributed to the great memories i have today…

Even with the fact that our governments and leaders aren’t responsible enough for us, we still make sure our lives are filled with sweetness and happiness, and this part of the country has given its share of happiness, problems and joy, and for that i am grateful. One of the major problems in this country is our leaders, if they can be replaced with better leaders, then we stand a chance of living a good life and having a better future…

The main reason why we have many people living our country today is because of the bad leadership we have in this country, if we had good leader to lead us in this country, then we would have never lost our people to other countries, but because the economy and the country are bad, many have been forced to sort greener pastures in different countries…

In summary, if we had good governance in this country, then suggesting it to others would have been easy, but because of the many insecurities of this country I doubt if anyone would be willing to dwell here. We have many beautiful tourists centers in this country, one that is capable of telling our stories to everyone out there…

In conclusion, if i surely get the chance to leave this country, i will gladly take that chance without thinking twice, i will love to settle in any other country that is different from my country, provided there is good governance and economy…
