          THE UNFORGETTABLE SCAR...

Over the years, many of my high school friends and homies never stop asking this one question, the question goes like this;

Seyi, why have you never had a low-cut even when you love the haircut style?....

Whenever they ask me, I just smile and find a way to get them off the topic before they decide to go too far with it, which might not end well. The truth is that there is a story behind it, and that story is what I will be sharing with you all today...

THE SCAR MAN...

I have always been known as a very playful, stubborn, and troublesome boy all my life, even I know of this fact. I never knew a scar would one day be the result of my playful nature and stubborn attitude...

Many years ago, I can't remember the year and the age I was at that time, i should have been around 7 and 8 years old back then when it happened...

It was on a Saturday morning, my mum woke my siblings up to get them started with their weekend chores, i was quite young and also the last born then, which meant no chores for me. the only thing I could do was to play away all my day...

My mum shared the chores equally between my siblings and decided to do the hardest of all the chores, which was dusting and sweeping the rug with a heavy metal...

My mum started her part of the chore outside the house, I was inside playing with my siblings and other neighbors when the devil pushed me into going outside, and that to where my mum was dusting the rug with heavy metal, my initial plan was to go play with her while she dusts the rug, I never knew that day would be the day I get reborn lol...

I was playing on my own when I decided to move closer to her, she was doing her thing without paying attention to me, so to get her attention I decided to move in between the raised-up metal and the rug, she warned me to leave but I was just too stubborn to listen, before I knew it, I turned it to play and started dodging the metal every time she hits it on the rug...

a Few moments later, a visitor came into the compound and was having a conversation with Mum while she had her hands raised with the metal in it, she was carried away by the conversation, and I who was dodging the metal also got carried away with the conversation, that I completely forgot to move away from where she wanted to hit next...

We were both carried away and I was in the middle of the raised-up metal and the rug she wanted to it. Suddenly, there was a big bang and my head was the receiver of the big bang, before my mum could look at who screamed, I had bolted away from her front in tears running a marathon race...

I ran about 200 meters before my mum stopped me with a heavy slap, I became calm immediately but the tears were rolling out nonstop and my hands were on my head as it was bleeding profusely...

My mum immediately in fear and tears rushed me to the nurse in my compound, I was given an injection and was wrapped up after my whole hair was shaved off...

Weeks later I was unbounded and that was how I got a scar on my head, hair couldn't grow on it for weeks, I could neither go out nor go play with my friends, and I had to isolate myself until my hair was full enough to cover my scar...

In summary, I became a new soul after that incident, I was born again big time thanks to this incident lol, till today I am still a bit scared of going bald...

In conclusion, this is one of my best childhood memories, I became a calm soul after that accident and that was how I changed a bit, it sounds bad right, but guess what friends, it's my best childhood memory...
