Namaste🙏 Dear Friends, Wishing you all a very Happy Navratri and Vijayadashami festival which is just completed. Here in India we are celebrating this festival 10 days.
There were different way to pray goddess Maa Durga and her different appearance and keeping some people fast 10days in day time and having food in night time only, some peoples are eating fruits only all ten days. Some peoples using rock salt and not using onion and Garlick for 10 days.
Not only kids also young old man also waiting this festival to watch "raam leela" RAMAYAN program live over stage and enjoy jhul rides and eat different types of sweets and do lots of purchasing. This time we have guest and we all enjoyed this festival fully.
This festival is based on God RAM and RAVANA, where RAM is a positive part and RAVANA was a evil or negative part.
We burnt out the ravana statute in last day of Navratra/Dussahara, simple it indicates that evil thing burned and Good/positive won over negativity.
I was also went to see "RAMAYANA" and enjoyed the ride over "mela"(fair) and eaten some special sweets and other snacks. Also purchased toys for kids they also enjoyed a lot over there.
Due to corona last three years was not so enjoyable but this time having lots of crowd.
Also we be a part of "dandiya" fest which was organized by our society and a big magazine company, they bring a singer and around 1000 person was enjoyed a lot over there. Sharing some pics of it.
I am sharing images of the functions, like "dandiya" navratri mela and some images are from bhandara(it means food serving for all person as a "prasad" and having by rich and poor person in one line.
Here in my area there was a lots of function organized by different organizers or sector wise members, so all images are not in organized .
