Growing Your Stake: Why Hive Power Matters in the Long Run

Well, those who have been here for a long time, they know very well about Hive Power, what is its use and how it can be misused. But according to me, the hive power is everything here because it gives you a different kind of power through which you can achieve a lot of things, whether you decide to vote or to vote for a proposal or to download something. It can be anything or it depends on you how you want to use it. There are many accounts here that are just lying lifeless or it is very sad to see them because maybe their owners have put an end to them or they have forgotten about this platform or maybe they have been active on ~~steemit~~ It is very sad to see that people are not active , no matter what the reason is. I have been active here for almost 4 years and I endeavour to remain active here and wait and watch what happens. I have done a lot of good work in the last few years. I have made progress. I believe that it takes time to achieve and grow everything.

I too had to face a lot of struggle and challenges to reach where I am now. If your path is easy then you find the journey boring. Some ups and downs are also necessary. We get to learn a lot from them and we are also able to understand a lot. If you get everything readymade, then you do not appreciate the things that you have. Imagine that you start earning very well on Hive from the first day itself, then you may not know about the struggle that other people face in the initial days. Yes, your content may be very good, but still, the initial days are a bit difficult. It is possible that you already have someone you know who supports you and encourages you from the beginning.

If you look at most of the people here, they are all like this who have very little power. And it is very sad to see that people come here only for rewards and no one thinks about the long term. If everyone starts thinking like this, then perhaps this platform will not be able to survive for long, but there are many people here who are here with a long-term perspective and it feels very good to see this. I have been following some people for some time and I feel very good to see that they think a lot about the hive and they have also made their hive power very good or you can say that they are trying to make it bigger and this works as a motivation for many people, it is especially doing so for me. I have also become a little inspired by seeing them and I am also trying to increase my power. They are Mr. @sanjeevm, Mr. @alex-rourke, Mr. @gungunkrishu (I am pretty sure that you may know them already )and to be honest the list is very long but for now I think these will motivate you

About 2 months ago I made a post Unveiling the Truth about Power: Dedication vs. Instant Success in which my power was 29K and now it has become almost 34K and I hope that by the end of this month I will achieve the target of 35K as you can see in my old post I had made a goal of 35K by the end of this year, but see, there are still about 5 months left and I am about to reach my target, so maybe you should make my expectations a little high and I hope that by the end of this year, my power will become 40K if the price of Hive remains like this. To be honest, I had put some money in HBD savings, maybe it would have been around 1000, but I converted it a few weeks ago and about two-three days ago I power up off 3000 Hive because I don't think that the price is going to increase now, there is a lot of time to increase it, so I don't want my liquid highway to be too bad, so I turned off the power and immediately after that I delegated my power to some communities because I have power but I have delegated it to most of the communities, the benefit of this will be that firstly my voting power will be distributed and secondly I will keep getting passive income, by which I can increase my power again by turning off the power or I can use it to increase my savings by converting it to HBD. (that is just the idea for now)

Why hive power is important:

Here power is everything, yes, if you have more power then your influence will also be greater. This is a natural thing, it happens everywhere, if you have power then people listen to you because you are a kind of stakeholder here and the more your stake, the more people listen to you and also act on them if your power is less and you claim a lot of things then people will not pay much attention to you if you are serious about this platform then I would suggest that you try to increase your power and it makes a lot of difference, I have felt this because you get the convenience to do a lot of things from it, you can do a lot, if you have more power then you can earn by curation, you can support the platform by upvoting a proposal or upvoting a witness.(there are many more use case of your power here, I am sure you all are well aware of that)

Increasing your power here means that you are increasing your stake on this platform and this is a very good thing and it is also necessary to do so. Yes, not everyone can do this because everyone's financial condition is different and their way of thinking is different, but if you have come here with a long term perspective, then you should focus more on your power. By doing this, you can achieve a lot. Firstly, you can upload your favourite authors which will encourage them and they will try to create good content if you are not able to do this, then you can delegate your power or follow a curation trail through which your vote can be distributed. If you want to turn on passive income here, then you can generate a passive income by delegating your power to a good curation account and then you can again turn off the power from passive income and delegate it somewhere else. This is just a simple example, after getting hive power, unlimited doors open for you through which you can achieve a lot. Many people have very good power and they use it in a very good way. It is very pleasing to see this and it also gives inspiration to work like them.

For now, I do not have any big goals, but the way the price of Hive is going, I think I will easily achieve it by the end of this year, let's see what happens and thank you to all of you who support me.
