Fuimos a visitar el museo de casualidad ya que habían unos actos culturales allí y aproveche de pasar, no iba desde que estaba pequeña con mi padre y no ha cambiado mucho realmente.

El Museo Aeronáutico de Maracay, es gestionado por la Aviación Nacional de Venezuela y la función de ellos es preservar y restaurar el patrimonio histórico aeronáutico del país, y de hecho en la galería se puede ver muchos aviones de los primeros utilizados en los espacios aéreos de Venezuela.

Lo único malo es que no hay un guía que valla explicando el recorrido, uno va viendo y haciendo sus propias conjunciones.

Existen alli aviones de Carga, de lanzamiento en paracaídas, aviones de guerra como este que se muestra en la foto donde se pueden observar las metralleta, otros tienen cohetes para disparar, también elicopteros.

Es un paseo muy bonito para ir toda la familia y llevar a los niños, sobre todo los niños pequeños a divertirse y conocer, aunque a mis hijos les gustó mucho, ellos ya habían ido pero igual les volvió a gustar.

Este avión es el llamado la vaca sagrada, un apodo que se le dio porque fue el avión presidencial donde Marco Pérez Jimenez y su familia escaparon rumbo a República Dominicana, obligado por el golpe de estado del 23 de enero de 1958, la verdad aún no se sabe porque le dicen la Vaca sagrada pero así fue!
