¿Un concurso de Mangas, Manhwas y Manhuas? ¡Anótame! Desde temprana edad me encanta leer historias representadas en estos formatos de comics asiáticos, de verdad que no puedo decir con exactitud la cantidad de Mangas, Manhwas y Manhuas que he leído en mis 25 años de vida, pero les aseguro que todos juntos suman más de 200. Al haber consumido tanto este tipo de material, hay muchísimos de los cuales me gustaría hablar, como Hana to Akuma, Moritat, 11:59, Ucle Cool, Dont Cry Girl, The Pale Horse, Here U Are, Living no Matsunaga-san, todos de diferentes géneros, romance, BL, misterio, drama, horror y pare de contar, pero, no puedo hablar de cada uno como quisiera en un solo post, así que de todos los que pasaron por mi mente, decidí escoger solo 1: Ayeshah's Secret. Ayeshah's Secret es un Manhua que leí hace aproximadamente 3 o 4 años atrás que primeramente me entro por los ojos, porque fue ver la portada y sentirme atraída por él inmediatamente por su estilo de dibujo que se diferenciaba de todos los mangas/manhwas/manhuas que había leído antes, ¡es simplemente fascinante y misteriosamente hipnotizante! Ya por el aspecto visual me sentía superentusiasmada de leerlo, pero fue cuando vi sus géneros principales (drama, más misterio psicológico) y leí su sinopsis que sabía que tenía que leerlo sí o sí. Este Manhua nos cuenta la historia de "una" chica que vive con su madrastra y sus tres hermanastros con los cuales no tiene lazos de sangre alguno, pero esta historia es más que la historia de esa chica, hay muchos secretos y situaciones trágicas, incómodas e incluso perturbadoras que despertaran sentimientos retorcidos entre los protagonistas de la misma. En Ayeshah's Secret muchas cosas no son lo que parecen, es una historia de época totalmente misteriosa que nos mostrara a personajes grises dignos de analizar.

Como buena amante de todo lo que tenga que ver con el misterio, la psique de las personas y el arte, leer este Manhua fue toda una experiencia para mí, tiene 11 capítulos, los cuales me los leí todos en un día porque no podía salir de mi fascinación con el dibujo y la historia, para mí todo encajaba perfecto, ese estilo de dibujo represento demasiado bien el tinte de todo lo que se estaba contando, haciendo que no quisiera quitar mis ojos de ella en ningún momento hasta terminarla. Al ser Ayeshah's Secret una historia corta, el desarrollo de los personajes no se aprecia tanto de manera extensa o progresiva, sino que como se muestran fragmentos del pasado, podemos ver las razones por las cuales ellos terminaron siendo como son de forma precisa y concisa. La manera en como se van presentando los eventos tiene una secuencia que, aunque es bastante coherente, no hay descuidarse, porque se puede llegar a confundir o a mezclar cosas debido al misterio existente en la narrativa, pues está llena de dobles vidas, dobles intenciones e incluso "dobles personas". Mis personajes favoritos de la historia son los principales, Ayeshah y Sean, esto es así porque son los personajes a los que más conocemos y me gusta la complicidad que surge entre ellos, los dos son muy resilientes. Ninguno de los dos son unas santas palomas blancas, sobre todo Sean, pero no me atrevería a clasificarlos como malos, creo que más bien los veo como personas con una sombra bastante grande que los persigue y ellos no saben como dejarla ir, dejándose envolver por ella algunas veces. Esta historia no solo es drama y misterio, también tiene su toque de romance y la verdad es que aunque es un romance oscuro que se desarrolla de una manera poco convencional, me pareció hermoso en su manera particular, digo, todo es un poco turbio en esta historia, pero no voy a mentir diciendo que no me sentí atraída en su momento por el personaje de Sean y como se fue desarrollando su historia con...(?) ¡No lo diré! Ayeshah's Secret es un manhua muy bien elaborado, con una historia profunda que gustara a quienes disfrutan de la belleza, el misterio, la exploración de la sombra del ser humano y el romance, yo sin duda recomiendo leerlo, no por nada está en mi lista de favoritos y esto lo digo sin ánimos de ponerme en un pedestal, pero me considero una persona con muy buen criterio y gustos.🤓 Dato: El autor de esta historia, Zhang Jing, también tiene una más larga titulada "Aisha", la cual resulta ser bastante similar a Ayeshah's Secret, son básicamente los mismos personajes.

A contest of Mangas, Manhwas and Manhuas? Sign me up! From an early age I love reading the stories represented in these Asian comics formats, I really can't say exactly how many Mangas, Manhwas and Manhuas I've read in my 25 years of life, but I assure you that all together they add up to more than 200. Having consumed so much of this kind of material, there are so many I would like to talk about, like Hana to Akuma, Moritat, 11:59, Ucle Cool, Don't Cry Girl, The Pale Horse, Here U Are, Living no Matsunaga-san, all from different genres, romance, BL, mystery, drama, horror and stop counting, but, I can't talk about each one as I would like in one post, so of all the ones that crossed my mind, I decided to choose only 1: Ayeshah's Secret. Ayeshah's Secret is a Manhua that I read about 3 or 4 years ago that firstly entered through my eyes, because I saw the cover and I was immediately attracted to it because of the drawing style that was different from all the mangas/manhwas/manhuas I had read before, it's just fascinating and mysteriously hypnotizing! Already from the visual aspect I was super excited to read it, but it was when I saw its main genres (drama, plus psychological mystery) and read its synopsis that I knew I had to read it no matter what. This Manhua tells the story of "a" girl who lives with her stepmother and her three stepbrothers with whom she has no blood ties, but this story is more than the story of that girl, there are many secrets and tragic, uncomfortable and even disturbing situations that awaken twisted feelings among the protagonists of it. In Ayeshah's Secret many things are not what they seem, it is a totally mysterious period story that will show us gray characters worthy of being analyzed.

As a good lover of everything that has to do with mystery, the psyche of people and art, reading this Manhua was an experience for me, it has 11 chapters, which I read them all in one day because I could not get out of my fascination with the drawing and the story, for me everything fit perfectly, that style of drawing represented too well the overtone of everything that was being told, making me not want to take my eyes off it at any time until I finished it. As Ayeshah's Secret is a short story, the development of the characters is not appreciated so much in an extensive or progressive way, but as fragments of the past are shown, we can see the reasons why they ended up being the way they are in a precise and concise way. The manner in which the events are presented has a sequence that, although it is quite coherent, should not be overlooked, because one can get confused or mix things up due to the existing mystery in the narrative, as it is full of double lives, double intentions and even "double persons". My favorite characters in the story are the main ones, Ayeshah and Sean, this is because they are the characters we get to know the most and I like the complicity that arises between them, both are very resilient. Neither of them are saintly white doves, especially Sean, but I wouldn't dare to classify them as bad people, I think I rather see them as people with a pretty big shadow that haunts them and they don't know how to let it go, letting themselves be wrapped up in it sometimes. This story is not only drama and mystery, it also has its touch of romance and the truth is that even though it's a dark romance that develops in an unconventional way, I found it beautiful in its own particular manner, I mean, everything is a bit messy in this story, but I'm not going to lie saying that I wasn't attracted at the time to Sean's character and how his story was growing with...(?) I won't tell! Ayeshah's Secret is a very well written manhua, with a deep story that will please those who enjoy beauty, mystery, the exploration of the shadow of the human being and romance, I definitely recommend reading it, not for nothing is on my list of favorites and I say this without wanting to put myself on a pedestal, but I consider myself a person with very good criteria and tastes. 🤓 Data: The author of this story, Zhang Jing, also has a longer one titled "Aisha", which happens to be quite similar to Ayeshah's Secret, they're basically the same characters.
