[EN/ES] Mr. Michi - "nobody's animals" | Sr. Michi - "Animales de nadie"

Note: We do not know the name so we named him Mr. Michi, he was never in our care and despite having permission to tell the story, we accept that he was not our pet.

"We are only faithful subjects of the Cuy God called Chucho and it seems that we say this of our own free will.."

As much as my companion of adventures as I, we feel a special connection for cats, we believe that they are beings of light that come to this world to illuminate our lives. They are faithful, loving animals with a meow that can touch any soul. This little cat encouraged us when our day was gray and our spirits were on the ground. He came with his little soft paws to visit us at our table, he meowed as asking how we were feeling

My companion of adventures, by means of gentle caresses, indicated that we were not quite well, so he insisted on his legs, continued around the building, he was his faithful little friend. He entered our hearts very quickly and with his face, the face that only a cat can have, he let him know that everything would be fine. And so it was throughout the afternoon, he shared with each neighbor of the residence, running, climbing and playing with the little birds to "I'll catch you and possibly eat you"

Mr. Michi died at 6 o'clock in the afternoon that same day, he somehow went up to the third floor of the building and because some tenant left the garbage chute open, Mr. Michi ended up dying when he fell down that chute. All deaths are tragic, but without a doubt the deaths that can be avoided outweigh more.

We like to think that he spent his last day jumping from one place to another, being caressed by everyone and having the affection that any Cat, Dog or any "nobody's animal" should have.

While we cannot turn back time to save him, we decided to make him immortal, as we do with little Cucho. It seems quite strange, although it is quite funny, in days of boredom we sit down to imagine how the story of the little guinea pig would be and we usually place him in different phases, he has become a cook, singer, athlete, judge and villain ...

cucho.jpg

Although without a doubt, the best thing that has occurred to us was to turn it into a kind of guinea pig with wings and sharp teeth, capable of facing dragons and mythological beasts. High above, the little Cuchi-Dron is the faithful companion of a Prince who undertakes trips around the world gathering materials and objects to fulfill a specific promise.

In the second "edition" of our stories called "Cuchi-Dron: Casabe Island", our dear, remembered and important Mr. Michi appeared, this time being a sorcerer from a village far from the city, on a mountain on the shore from sea. Mr. Michi ends up becoming the God of the heavens, capable of curing all ills with a single meow. Placing it in our stories, remembering it and immortalizing it seems to us the best way to pay tribute to it, because even if it was not our pet, it was part of a few hours of our lives and made them happy.

This post is dedicated to "nobody's animals", all those who come to our houses for a few days in search of food, as a kind of recharge of energy to continue their journey and that in return they control us one or another little mouse that is hide behind the washing machine or just let us give our love in our gray days.

We all, absolutely all of us know a "nobody's animal", many of them are despised and mistreated, some others are "lucky" to earn the respect of all the neighbors, who, although they do not have the possibilities (Not only economic resources, It is also a matter of time and space) to adopt them, they let them be in peace in parking lots, under stairs, squares and other public places. I know that what I say does not seem fair and it is because it is not, having said that, I faithfully believe that several dishes of food a week among all the neighbors and things as simple as naming them and respecting their space, is much better than mistreating them. It will not be as good as taking them off the streets, although it is a great advance as a society. "Romo wasn't built in a day"
