Crossing a main public road can be dangerous for these little ones.
He seemed to know when to take a gap between the speeding cars.
Something told me to stop the car and I acted upon my instincts.
Cars speed along this road and a small guy like this stands no chance when a car collects him.
But there was another little guy that came running up to follow the one that crossed over.
Come and watch this.
Yay, he made it safely across the road, but we had another problem.
This little guy appeared and he did not have the other one's confidence.
So, he decided to follow the guy by entering the road, but I shouted at him to come back, as there was a car coming.
Guess what? He listened to my command and scampered back.
Sitting again as if he was waiting for me to tell him when to cross.
I saw the gap and I shouted. "Now! Go, go, go" and he scampered off.
Midway over he slackened the pace but I shouted at him again.
Now just look at this thank you. Makes one to feel so warm inside.
Such is life isn't isn't it? One continously gets tested by certain situations in life and one can contnue to blindly stumble forth, or one can become active.
By active I mean that one can respond to the need and safety of others, knowning that it will be remembered when one finds the self in a tight spot.
Can you believe that Marian said to me that we should keep a bucket and a 5 liter bottle of water in the car, so that she can bath them when we might see them again hahaha.
So now I must not only go around as a dog traffic officer, but I must also offer the stray dogs a free grooming service.
Imagine that.
Care, kindness and love can turn one's life around.
And That's All Friends.
