Hola a todos! hoy les contaré sobre Gordo, mi hijo felino.
We adopted him in April 2019 when he was approximately 3 months old along with his little brother Milo.
A él lo adoptamos en abril del 2019 con aproximadamente 3 meses de edad junto con su hermanito Milo.
They came to a house full of cats so they spent 10 days being shy until one day they adapted very well.
Llegaron a una casa llena de gatos así que estuvieron 10 días siendo tímidos hasta que un día se adaptaron super bien.
The two of them spent a lot of time together. They went out together to the roof, to the garden. Until in March 2020 Milo did not return and we never found him 😭😭😭😭
Ellos dos pasaban mucho tiempo juntos. Salían juntos al techo, al patio. Hasta que en marzo del 2020 Milo no volvió más y nunca lo encontramos 😭
Gordo was a little down for a few days. And in September he fell ill. Definitely 2020 was not his best year 😣😣
As we saw that he was urinating with blood, we took him to the vet and they told us that his urethra was obstructed but that with medication he would improve. It did not happen since at one point he stopped being able to urinate. So they had to put a probe and an Elizabethan collar on him 😣😣
Gordo estuvo un poco decaído unos días. Y en septiembre enfermó. Definitivamente el 2020 no fue su mejor año 😣😣 Como vimos que orinaba con sangre lo llevamos al veterinario y nos dijeron que tenía la uretra obstruida pero que con medicamentos iba a mejorar. No ocurrió ya que en un momento dejó de poder orinar. Así que tuvieron que ponerle sonda y collar isabelino.
They were very horrible days, many hours without sleep but we must still admit that her face inside a cone was very cute 😍💖
Fueron unos días muy horrendos, muchas horas sin dormir pero igual hay que admitir que daba mucha ternura su carita adentro de un cono 😂😍
Over the days there were no improvements so they had to operate it 😭😭😭 They basically made his urethra bigger so he can urinate well.
Con los días seguía igual, sin mejoras así que tuvieron que operarlo. Básicamente le hicieron más grande la uretra así él puede orinar bien.
And since then, he had no problem. He no longer wears a diaper or a cone. We had to change his diet and give him a special one for cats with urinary problems. Thanks to that he gained weight, his hair improved and especially his mood ❤❤❤
Y desde entonces, no tuvo ningún problema. Ya no usa ni pañal ni cono. Tuvimos que cambiarle la alimentación y darle uno especial para gatos con problemas renales. Gracias a eso aumentó de peso, su pelo mejoró y sobre todo su ánimo.
As we gave him a lot of attention those days, now he is spoiled but have no doubt that he is our baby and we love him the same, even if he wakes us up at 3 in the morning because he wants food (even though he already has on his plate 🤦)
Como le dimos mucha atención esos días ahora es un malcriado 😂😂 pero no tengan ninguna duda de que él es nuestro bebé y lo amamos igual, aunque nos despierte a las 3 de la mañana porque quiere comida (a pesar de que en su plato ya tenga 🤦)
