Swallow and Meow...the beginning of a beautiful friendship

Hi everyone! I have been passing hard times after the car accident of Swallow, one of my cats (the grey one, at left) that has been traumatized after this event. Both Swallow and Meow (at right) love to go out and can't suffer to stay home too much, especially in summer.

Meow was adopted 1 year and a half ago while Swallow was adopted 9 months ago...they were both adults and in search of a home. When Swallow came into our home, she clearly stated to Meow that she is the Alfa cat and started various fights with Meow in this respect.

However, after Swallow has been involved in a car accident, I had to take care of her by going to the veterinary, following treatments, and being close to her at home. Fortunately, her injuries were not severe, but she was under shock some weeks afterward.

She completely turned into a whole different cat. Not moving too much, staying much more in the house, being passive most of the time. Also, her attitude towards Meow had changed after she recovered, maybe because she observed that Meow was there for her just by leaning next to her or simply watching her.

Fortunately, things are better and better between them. Swallow doesn't longer has that urge to attack Meow and seems more gentle with her.

I had a lot of emotions until Swallow came back to her senses. I am now grateful she is not only in good shape, but she has slowly begun to perceive an ally in Meow. On the other side, Meow is so candid and gentle with my other cats, and she can now enjoy the so-well deserved love from them.
