Les presento a Lulú Alejandra, ella tiene un año, y tenemos una historia muy particular, mi mamá me la regaló un 29 de diciembre del año 2019 en mi pueblo de crianza (Punta de Mata Estado Monagas), Lulú parecía un ratoncito tenía 3 meses. Esos días yo estaba pasando navidades con mis padres, de tan solo pensar la responsabilidad que me generaría me hacía dudar quería salir corriendo y olvidar que mi mama me la había dado, poderla traer hasta Caracas la ciudad donde vivo, se torno un reto ya que en los buses de viaje no aceptan trasladar ningún tipo de mascotas, el cuento fue que me la metí en bolso muy pequeño y ella se quedó muy tranquila por lo que pase por desapercibido y pude traerla, les cuento que al llegar al terminal la baje en el suelo del bus y se me orino casi medio litro, me tocó quedarme en camiseta para perder limpiarle el transporte, estaba súper apenado con el señor del bus.
This is Lulu Alejandra, she is one year old, and we have a very particular story, my mom gave her to me on December 29, 2019, in my hometown (Punta de Mata, Monagas State), Lulu looked like a little mouse, she was 3 months old. Those days I was spending Christmas with my parents, just thinking about the responsibility that I would generate made me doubt I wanted to run away and forget that my mom had given her to me, to bring her to Caracas, the city where I live, became a challenge because in the buses they do not accept any kind of pets, The story was that I put her in a very small bag and she was very quiet so I went unnoticed and I could bring her, I tell you that when I arrived at the terminal I put her down on the floor of the bus and she peed almost half a liter, I had to stay in my shirt to lose cleaning the transport, I was super sorry with the man of the bus.
Al llegar al departamento donde vivo la esperaba una camita que le envié hacer y un peluchito que me dieron, les cuento que a pesar que mi departamento es muy pequeño a lulú le gusto y adaptó muy rápido, les cuento que me costó mucho acostumbrarme a enseñarle a hacer sus necesidades en el baño yo la regañaba fuerte y la llevaba hasta allí, pero tanto di hasta que aprendió.
When I arrived at the apartment where I live she was waiting for a little bed that I sent her to make and a stuffed animal that I got, I tell you that even though my apartment is very small Lulu liked it and adapted very quickly, I tell you that it took me a lot to get used to teaching her to do her needs in the bathroom, I scolded her hard and took her there, but I gave so much until she learned.
Lulú se caracteriza por ser muy dulce y juguetona, es algo celosa conmigo, por lo que tiende a gruñir a las personas que ella no conoce y se me acercan, ella no es muy confianzuda como tal, tiende a ser muy afectiva con las personas que ya conoce por lo que en el edificio la quieren mucho; les comento que desde muy pequeña la montaba en mi moto.
Lulu is characterized by being very sweet and playful, she is somewhat jealous of me, so she tends to growl at people she does not know and approach me, she is not very trusting as such, she tends to be very affectionate with people she already knows so in the building they love her very much; I tell you that since she was very small I rode her on my bike.
La primera vez que la monte se me cayó gracias a Dios no se hizo nada y no venía rápido, el susto fue terrible llegué a casa con el corazón en la boca, a pesar de esa ocurrencia lo seguí intentando hasta que ella sola se montaba en la moto sin que yo le dijera asumo que ella pensaba que el dueño saldría y ella también quería ir, la cuestión fue que me compre un bolso y comencé a meterla en y allí la llevaba tanto así que cuando tenemos días sin salir ella me trae la cartera y se mete.
The first time I rode her I dropped her, thank God nothing was done and she was not coming fast, the scare was terrible I got home with my heart in my mouth, despite that occurrence I kept trying until she rode the bike by herself without me telling her I assume she thought the owner was going out and she also wanted to go, the point was that I bought a purse and started to put her in and there I took her so much so that when we have days without going out she brings me the purse and gets in.
Por lo general siempre que salgo de casa por varios días la llevo conmigo, es cómico decirlo pero lulú es como una hija, cuando me preguntan por ella mi respuesta siempre es: Yo me llevo a mi muchachita. Ciertamente a pesar de ser una perrita ella se ha ganado todo mi cariño, ella siempre está pegada a mí.
Usually whenever I leave the house for several days I take her with me, it's funny to say but lulu is like a daughter when I am asked about her my answer is always: I take my little girl with me. Certainly, despite being a little dog, she has won all my affection, she is always attached to me.
En noviembre del 2020 pase el susto más grande se pueden imaginar, yo les había comentado que me gustan patinar en plazas y sitios turísticos de la ciudad, un día coordine con una amiga para salir, yo me lleve a lulú, y al llegar al lugar le di la perrita a mi amiga dentro de la cartera y me fui a estacionar la moto, pues resulta que la muchacha la bajo y cuando me di cuenta Lulú venia atras de mi yo deje caer la moto y corrí por ella pero cuando la fui a agarrar una camioneta la atropelló, ustedes no imaginan lo que horrible que fue el momento lulú lloraba muy duro y yo me metí debajo de la camioneta a sacarla, todavía estaba debajo del caucho, cuando la tome ella me mordió muy fuerte me rompió toda la mano.
In November 2020 I had the biggest scare you can imagine, I had told them that I like to skate in squares and tourist sites in the city, one day I coordinated with a friend to go out, I took Lulu, and when I got to the place I gave the dog to my friend inside the bag and I went to park the bike, I dropped the bike and ran for her but when I went to grab her a truck ran over her, you can't imagine what a horrible moment that was, lulu was crying very hard and I got under the truck to get her out, she was still under the rubber, when I took her she bit me very hard and broke my whole hand.
Gracias a Dios la señora que la atropelló insistió en llevarla al veterinario. Llegamos por urgencia inmediatamente la atendieron Lulú estaba muy adolorida no me van a creer pero yo arranque a llorar como si fuera la persona más importante, pues resulta que Lulú y yo vivimos prácticamente solos pensar en que ella moriría fue una tortura. Luego de exámenes, placas y hematología Lulú resultó tener una fractura de cintura la cual no podía ser enyesada, me la dieron de alta y solo me tocaba esforzarme por ayudarla, ella se arrastraba por el suelo, me daba un dolor.
Thank God the lady who ran over her insisted on taking her to the vet. Lulu was in a lot of pain, you won't believe me but I started crying as if she was the most important person, as it turns out that Lulu and I live practically alone, to think that she would die was torture. After tests, x-rays, and hematology Lulu turned out to have a fractured waist which could not be cast, I was discharged and I just had to make an effort to help her, she was crawling on the floor, it gave me pain.
Tanto fue que dormí con ella en el suelo durante 2 semanas. De verdad ella estaba aferrada a la vida ya que ella misma se motivaba y venía a mi yo intentaba agarrarla y lloraba y se podrán imaginar cómo me ponía yo al verla así durante 1 mes Lulu dejó de jugar correr solo dormía, pero tanto dimos hasta que salimos de eso juntos.
So much so that I slept with her on the floor for 2 weeks. She was really clinging to life as she motivated herself and would come to me and I would try to grab her and she would cry and you can imagine how I would get when I saw her like that for 1 month Lulu stopped playing and running and just slept, but we gave so much until we got out of it together.
Hoy en día Lulú es fuerte, grande, saludable y hermosa, como siempre la llevo conmigo a todos lados, la saco a pasear y la consiento mucho. Si alguien me pregunta hoy si me metiera en el lío de tener a Lulu no lo pensaría 2 veces, nada como el cariño de tu amigo fiel.
Today Lulu is strong, big, healthy, and beautiful, as always I take her everywhere with me, take her for walks, and spoil her a lot. If someone asked me today if I would get into the mess of having Lulu I would not think twice, anything like the affection of your faithful friend.
