Estos animales son demasiado delicados con respecto a los parásitos, y es una de las principales causas de muerte cuando tienen menos de dos meses, por esta razón debemos desparasitarlos, lamentablemente muchas personas que venden estas mascotas recurren a la mentira y dicen que ya están desparasitados. Si no lo sabemos sería prudente hacerlo nosotros mismos.

Para ello recomiendo usar ivermectina al 1% y siempre en animales de más de un mes, ¿cuánto? Para estas tiernas mascotas debemos dar 0,2 cc por vía subcutánea, y para que te hagas una mejor idea puedes ver cómo lo hago en la imagen. les recomiendo utilizar una jeringa de insulina para que la dosis sea más exacta ya que esta es de 1cc y podríamos vacunar a cinco animales al llenarla completamente como fue en mi caso que eran 8 gazapos.

Algo que ocurre mucho y me han preguntado, es que siempre que alguien compra un conejito (gazapo) no sabe que sexo tiene y como a esa edad no se notan los testículos, en el caso de los machos, tienden a confundirse con las hembras. Esta vez al hacerlo en 8 animales 6 eran machos y 2 eran hembras, normalmente en las camadas hay más machos que hembras.
