I hope you are super well today. I wanted to share with you the story of my beautiful princess, Nakiri.
Hace 1 año y 9 meses aproximadamente, estabamos buscando un perrito que nos hiciera compañia, pero sobre todo que hiciera ruido en el patio, ya que tuvimos la desdicha de que robaran algunas de las pertenencias que habiamos dejado fuera de nuestra casa y necesitabamos ese perro guardian que nos avisara si alguien intentaba entrar de nuevo, asi estar alertas y tomar las medidas necesarias.
About 1 year and 9 months ago, we were looking for a puppy to keep us company, but above all to make noise in the yard, because we had the misfortune that some of the belongings that we had left outside our house were stolen and we needed that dog guard to notify us if someone tried to enter again, so be alert and take the necessary measures.
Nuestra expectativa de perro guardian consistía en uno grande, que al verlo intimidara, ya que así han sido todos nuestros perros anteriores, de raza tipo Boxer o San Bernardo y con ese prospecto fuimos en busca de un perro que tuviera esas mismas caracteristicas, pero la busqueda desafortunadamente (o afortunadamente) no rindió frutos.
Our expectation of a guard dog consisted of a large one, which when seeing it would intimidate, since that is how all our previous dogs have been, like Boxer or Saint Bernard breed and with that prospect we went in search of a dog that had those same characteristics, but the Search unfortunately (or fortunately) did not pay off.
Al poco tiempo fuimos a visitar a uno de los amigos de mi padre, el cual tiene una finca con muchos animales. Entre los que tenia, habia patos, gallinas, pavos, gatos y perros. Cuando entré me percate de que habia como una especie de piedra en el medio del lugar, al acercarme me di cuenta de que no era una piedrita, ¡Era una perrita!
Soon we went to visit one of my father's friends, who has a farm with many animals. Among those he had, there were ducks, chickens, turkeys, cats and dogs. When I entered I realized that there was like a kind of stone in the middle of the place, when I got closer I realized that it was not a pebble, it was a puppy!
Era sumamente pequeña, la podía cargar con una sola mano y no sentía que pesara mucho, solo se podía sentir sus costillitas y huesitos muy chiquitos, estaba temblando, tenía una mirada perdida, encias blancas y una graaaan barriga. En seguida la tome en mis brazos, la llevé al carro y la acoste en la parte de atrás.
It was extremely small, I could carry it with one hand and it did not feel that it was heavy, you could only feel its ribs and very small bones, it was shaking, it had a lost look, white gums and a big belly. I immediately took her in my arms, carried her to the car and laid her on the back.
Fuí corriendo hacia el lugar en el que se encontraba mi padre y le dije "tenemos que llevarnos a la perrita" a lo que el solo sonríe y me dice "Tranquila, ya hable y ahora es de nosotros". Mi corazon se llenó de alegria pero seguia dentro de mi esa preocupacion por las condiciones en las que se encontraba.
I ran to the place where my father was and I told him "we have to take the dog away" to which he just smiles and says "Calm down, I've already talked and now it belong to us." My heart was filled with joy but I still worried about the condition in which she was.
Apenas la lleve a la casa, la bañe con agua tibia, la sequé, le saque todas las pulguitas que pude y le di de comer. En seguida noté el gran apetito que tenía este hermoso animalito. Al llevarla al veterinario le mando su desparasitante y vitaminas. Asi pudo tomar un aspecto corporal mas sano, bajo su barriguita infestado de parasitos y su tono adiposo fue aumentando.
As soon as I took her home, I bathed her with warm water, dried her, took out all the fleas that I could, and fed her. I immediately noticed the great appetite that this beautiful little animal had. When I take her to the vet, he send her the dewormer and her vitamins. So she was able to take on a healthier body appearance, her parasite infested belly shrank and her adipose tone was increasing.
El que era dueño de la finca nos había dicho que era un chihuahua, cosa que hoy en día más que obvio que aquello era tan que falso como un billete de $2. Por lo que fue la elegida como perrita guardian junto a su hermanita Terra (De ella les hablaré en otro blog).
The owner of the farm had told us that she was a Chihuahua, which today is more than obvious that it was as false as a $ 2 bill. So she was chosen as our guardian dog along with her little sister Terra (I'll talk about her in another blog).
Esta princesa nos llena de alegria cada dia con sus locuras y ternura. Estoy muy feliz de haber estado en el lugar y momento correcto para poderme quedar con esta hermoso monstruico que tengo hoy.
This princess fills us with joy every day with her madness and tenderness. I am very happy to have been in the right place and time to be able to stay with this beautiful monster that I have today.
Esta es la historia de mi bebe Nakiri y estoy muy feliz de poder compartirla con ustedes y sobre todo que esta historia haya tenido un desarrollo feliz y bueno para ella.
