Hola hola. ¿Cómo están hoy? Yo muy contenta porque en esta oportunidad voy a hablarles de alguien muy especial para mí. Se trata de mi amigo Jako (sip, tengo más amigos perrunos que humanos 😅)

Well, first of all, Jako is one of those friendships that start with the left foot... The way I met him was because of a clumsy mistake on my part.
It was Pua's first heat, but a friend that I hadn't seen for a long time, came to visit me at my house, so I had to go down to the subway to receive her and I had the great idea of going down with her... I know a monumental clumsiness 🤦
Very confident I went down to receive her and on that first ride nothing happened, the problem was when we were walking back and it occurred to me to go right down the street where Jako lives. If you have never made the mistake I made then I sincerely tell you not to do it because males get very upset when they smell a female in heat.
Suffice it to say that Jako attacked my physical integrity and that of my friends in order to ride my baby 😭 That was screaming and running until the people who live on that street helped us by stopping Jako long enough for us to escape.
Bueno les comento para empezar que Jako es de es de esas amistades que inician con el pie izquierdo... La forma que lo conoci fue por un error bastante torpe de mi parte.
Era el primer celo de Pua, pero una amiga que tenia mucho tiempo sin ver, vino a visitarme a mi casa, así que tuve que bajar hasta el metro para recibirla y se me ocurrió la gran idea de bajar con ella... Lo se una torpeza monumental 🤦♀️
Muy confiada bajé a recibirla y en ese primer trayecto no ocurrió nada, el problema fue cuando caminábamos de regreso y se me ocurrió ir justo por la calle en la que vive Jako. Si nunca han cometido el error que cometí yo entonces sinceramente les digo que no lo hagan porque los machos se ponen muy mal al sentir el olor de una hembra en celo.
Basta con decir que Jako arremetió contra mi integridad física y la de mis amigas con tal de montar a mi bebé 😭 Aquello fueron gritos y corredera hasta que las personas que viven en esa calle nos socorrieron deteniendo a Jako el tiempo suficiente para que pudiéramos escapar.
Jako is a Pit Bull mongrel, but that's not his whole appeal. He is the alpha dog of the area and, as such, he is the sweetheart of all the little dogs in the vicinity. He has impregnated several that have escaped from their homes during the days of heat, and even, the very cheeky one has taken some of them to his owner's house to keep them there in their pregnancy 😅
After our disastrous first encounter and learning that he could not be taking out Pua during her heat, our relationship was not the best. At first, Jako was in love with Púa and she reciprocated. Every time we passed wax, the little dog would find a way to follow us and try to get Púa's attention. I would run him off strongly because I didn't like him and I didn't want an accident with my dog.
However, dogs have this gift of charming people and making us get attached to them. As the months went by, Jako went from being annoying to being a friend by sheer force of insistence 😂
Jako es un mestizo de Pit Bull, pero ese no es todo su atractivo. Él es el perro alfa de la zona y como tal, es el galán de todas las perritas de las cercanías. Ha dejado preñadas a varias que se han escapado de sus casas en los días de celo, e incluso, el muy descarado ha llevado a algunas hasta la casa de su dueño para mantenerlas allí en su embarazo 😅
Después de nuestro desastroso primer encuentro y de aprender que no podía estar sacando a Púa durante su celo, nuestra relación no era la mejor. Al principio, Jako estaba enamorado de Púa y ella le correspondía. Cada vez que pasábamos cera, el perrito encontraba la manera de seguirnos y tratar llamar la atención de Púa. Yo lo corría fuertemente pues no era de mi simpatía y tampoco quería un accidente con mi perrita.
Sin embargo los perros tienen ese don de encantar a las personas y hacer que nos encariñemos con ellos. Con el paso de los meses Jako fue pasando de molesto a amigo a pura fuerza de insistencia 😂
Once when my husband and I sat down to talk about important issues near the walking path, Jako came running and started playing with Púa. I had no choice but to leave them because we were in the middle of an important conversation.
The surprise was that Jako started to give me licks in the house and wanted me to pet him.... I don't know if dogs have that level of intelligence but somehow he knew that to get to Púa he had to win my affection... and since I can't say no to any doggy, I started to pet him on the head.
From that moment on I started to be more tolerant and he started a strange ritual of accompanying us for a good part of our walk and then going back home. But the funny thing is that he is no longer so excited to see Púa but me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
En cierta oportunidad en la que mi esposo y yo nos sentamos a conversar de temas importantes cerca de la ruta de paseo, Jako vino corriendo y empezó a jugar con Púa. No tuve mas remedio que dejarlos porque estábamos en medio de una conversación importante.
La sorpresa fue que Jako comenzó a darme lengüetazos en la casa y buscar que yo lo acariciara... No se si los perros tienen ese nivel de inteligencia pero de alguna forma supo que para llegar a Púa tenia que ganarse mi cariño... y como yo no puedo decirle que no a ningún perrito pues me puse a hacerle cariño en la cabeza.
Desde ese momento empecé a ser mas tolerante y el comenzó un extraño ritual de acompañarnos un buen trecho de nuestro paseo y luego devolverse a su casa. Pero lo gracioso es que ya no se emociona tanto por ver a Púa sino a mi 🤣🤣🤣
Every time I see him I greet him with much affection, I make him love and if I have some food that he likes and can eat, I give him a taste.
He is a very affectionate dog. He lives in a house near the area where I walk Pua and he is almost always loose in the street because he doesn't attack people (not even when a dog is in heat, he just grabs your leg and starts rubbing off of you 🙄).
Far from what it looks like his owners take great care of him. They feed him well, bathe him and have his vaccinations up to date. For a dog, he's even more gallant than my husband in some respects 🤭
Another of the funniest anecdotes is that once while I was buying bananas from a truck, the very protective dog felt that the gentlemen who were attending me might have bad intentions towards me and decided to mark me with his urine 🙃 You see? a real gallant.
Cada vez que lo veo lo saludo con mucho cariño, le hago cariño y si tengo algo de comida que le guste y pueda comer, le doy una probada.
El es un perro muy cariñoso. Vive en una casa cerca de la zona por donde paseo a Púa y casi siempre esta suelto en la calle porque no ataca a las personas (ni siquiera cuando una perra esta en celo, solo se agarra a tu pierna y comienza a frotarse de ti 🙄)
Lejos de lo que parece sus dueños lo cuidan mucho. Lo alimentan bien, lo bañan y tienen sus vacunas al día. Para ser perro, es incluso mas galante que mi esposo en ciertos aspectos 🤭
Otra de las anécdotas más graciosas es que una vez mientras compraba cambures de un camión, el muy protector sintió que los señores que me atendían quizás tenían malas intenciones hacia mi y decidió marcarme con su orina 🙃 ¿Lo ven? todo un galan.
One of the things I love most about having a pet is that you meet lovely people who share your love for animals and sometimes, you also meet furry friends who steal your heart. Without more to add to this little Storytime I say goodbye with the same message, take good care of your furry babies and treat with love and respect all the animals you come across, because you never know who will be your next walking friend 😊
Una de las cosas que mas me gusta de tener una mascota es conoces a personas encantadoras que comparten tu mismo amor por los animales y en algunas ocasiones, también conoces a amigos peludos que te roban el corazón. Sin mas que agregar a este pequeño Storytime me despido con el mismo mensaje, cuiden mucho a su bebés peludos y a traten con cariño y respeto a todos los animalitos con los que se crucen, porque nunca sabes quien será tu próximo amigo de paseos 😊
