Hola comunidad de #Hive y #Hivepets hoy les traigo la maravillosa historia de una amistad muy singular entre un periquito y un perrito que tengo y ya son familia.
Hello #Hive and #Hivepets community, today I bring you the wonderful story of a very unique friendship between a parakeet and a puppy that I have and they are already family.
El periquito de la imagen se llama Editho y el perro Maximus alias "Max". Estos chicos son unos traviesos y divertidos cómplices de aventuras desde muy pequeños, ya que ambos tienen alrededor de un año y por eso es que se llevan tan bien mis bebes hermosos. Les escribo como toda madre que ama a sus chicos y los protege de todo lo malo, evitandoles riesgos innecesarios.
Como les vengo mencionando en el titulo, estos chicos de diferentes especies han formado una amistad muy singular, porque quizás uno piensa y hasta siente temor de que el mas grande le haga daño al mas pequeño. Pero en su convivencia diaria no es así. De hecho hasta uno puede llegar a pensar que el perro protegerá al periquito, sin embargo para su sorpresa como lo ha sido para mi, es el perico el que protege y defiende al perro. Algo que a muchos les causado curiosidad y hasta sorpresa.
The parakeet in the image is called Editho and the dog Maximus aka "Max". These boys are naughty and fun accomplices of adventures from a very young age, since they are both about a year old and that is why my beautiful babies get along so well. I write to you like any mother who loves her children and protects them from all the bad things, avoiding unnecessary risks.
As I have been mentioning in the title, these boys from different species have formed a very unique friendship, because perhaps one thinks and even feels fear that the largest will hurt the smallest. But in their daily coexistence it is not like that. In fact, one can even think that the dog will protect the parakeet, however to his surprise, as it has been for me, it is the parakeet that protects and defends the dog. Something that caused many curiosity and even surprise.
Este muy lindo vinculo que han formado Editho Y Maximus, demuestra que los animales de diferentes especies, si son capaces de dar amor sin ningún tipo de conflicto ni egoísmo por ser diferentes. Ellos nos enseñan lo que es la lealtad y la confianza, y que todo se puede lograr si hay una amistad verdadera.
Mis chicos pasan el día juntos y el perico suele limpiar tanto al perro, que hasta le corta los bigotes, algo que nos causa risa pero lo alejamos de el cuando nos damos cuenta de sus intenciones. Ambos siempre están atentos a lo que hace el otro, ya que en vista del peligro de aves de rapiña que lo cacen,a Editho lo metemos en su jaula; y si vamos a estar allí cerca de ellos, pues estamos muy pendientes de el y además Max lo cuida muy bien, pues le retribuye el buen trato que le da su amiguito amado.
This very nice bond that Editho and Maximus have formed, shows that animals of different species, if they are capable of giving love without any type of conflict or selfishness for being different. They teach us what loyalty and trust are, and that everything can be achieved if there is a true friendship.
My boys spend the day together and the parakeet usually cleans the dog so much that he even cuts his whiskers, something that makes us laugh but we distance him from him when we realize his intentions. Both are always attentive to what the other is doing, since in view of the danger of birds of prey that hunt him, we put Editho in his cage; and if we are going to be there near them, well, we are very aware of him and also Max takes good care of him, because he repays him for the good treatment that his beloved little friend gives him.
El estar juntos de aquí para allá, fortalece su unión y se protegen tanto, que si regaño o disciplino a Maximus; Editho hace un alboroto peleando conmigo. Y si esta suelto en el suelo, suele perseguirme para picotearme y morderme, eso me causa mucha risa y tengo que ceder a su posición de defensa.
Los quiero tanto, que el tenerlos en mi vida la llena de alegría y me enseña que una amistad puede darse en los humanos también; sin diferencias de razas, culturas, nacionalidad, o hasta de creencias. Pues todos somos seres pensantes y los animales nos dan lecciones de humanidad.
Being together from here to there, strengthens their union and they protect each other so much, that if I scold or discipline Maximus; Editho goes on a rampage fighting me. And if he is loose on the ground, he will often chase me to peck and bite me, that makes me laugh a lot and I have to give in to defending him.
I love them so much, that having them in my life fills it with joy and teaches me that a friendship can happen in humans too; without differences of race, culture, nationality, or even beliefs. Well, we are all thinking beings and animals give us lessons in humanity.
Editho y Maximus son dos seres amigables que continuan dandose cariño, como lo pueden ver en las imagenes. Es por ello que los animo a adoptar y a querer a sus mascotas, pues mas que eso; ellos se vuelven parte de la familia y se ganan el cariño de todos. Demostrando asi, que la amistad no tiene limites ni discrimina a nadie.

Editho and Maximus are two friendly beings who continue to care for each other, as you can see in the images. That is why I encourage you to adopt and love your pets, well more than that; they become part of the family and earn everyone's affection. Demonstrating in this way that friendship has no limits or discriminates against anyone.
