The gigantic blue land crab.
How many times have you had the opportunity to have this huge and intimidating animal so close?
Days ago, while doing sports running very early down the avenue, in front of the beach, I was very surprised by the appearance of these blue crabs that had left their habitat (a lagoon that is on the other side of the road) to try cross to the beach side, it is not often that you see them so easy. It was 5:50 am. I imagine that at this time of year, the gigantic blue crustaceans make their exits towards the beach.
Sometimes I take my phone to take pictures of the beach and its landscapes, so don't miss out on this great opportunity and take a few pictures to show you. Believe it or not, these crabs are very fearful and are very difficult to photograph, because they run a lot, my luck was that they were very far from the caves where they came from and I would corner them to try to take some good shots. I must admit that the fear that their huge tweezers gave me made the photo session of my star models a little difficult, it gave the impression that at any moment they would chase me.
Although in countries like Mexico they hunt these animals for the consumption of their claws, putting them in danger of extinction, here in my land we do not consume any of this type of crab.

El gigantesco cangrejo azul de tierra.
¿Cuantas veces has tenido la oportunidad de tener a este enorme e intimidante animal tan cerca?
Hace días, mientras hacia deportes corriendo bien temprano por la avenida, frente a la playa, quede muy sorprendido con la aparición de estos cangrejos azules que se habían salido de su hábitat (una laguna que se encuentra del otro lado de la carretera) para intentar cruzar hacia la parte de la playa, no es frecuente verlos tan fácil. Eran las 5:50 am. imagino que en esta época del año, lo gigantescos crustáceos azules hacen sus salidas hacia la playa.
A veces llevo mi teléfono para hacer tomas de la playa y sus paisajes, así que no desaproveche esta grandiosa oportunidad y saque unas cuantas fotografías para mostrárselas a ustedes. Aunque les parezca mentira, estos cangrejos, son muy temerosos y son muy difíciles de fotografiar, porque corren mucho, la suerte mía fue que estaban muy lejos de las cuevas de donde salían y los acorralaba para intentar hacerle algunas buenas tomas. Debo reconocer que el miedo que me daban sus enormes pinzas hicieron un poquito difícil la sesión de fotografías a mis modelos estrellas, daba la impresión de que en cualquier momento me saldrían persiguiendo.
aunque en paises como Méjico cazan estos animales para el consumo de sus pinzas, poniéndolos en peligro de extinción, acá en mi tierra no consumimos nada de este tipo de cangrejos.
