Comenzare contándoles la historia de como Night Long llego a mi vida.

[ESP] Night Long, es un gato que llego a mi vida hace poco menos de un año, exactamente el 5 de junio del año pasado. A Night Long, lo espere por mucho tiempo, @yetsimar sabia que quería uno, pues había perdió a fhurer, mi primer gato (más adelante prometo contarles acerca de él) así que me comento que la gata de la residencia donde vivía había dado a luz algunos gatitos, ella hablaría con la señora encargada, quien no dudo en darme en adopción a unos de ellos, solo debía esperar que contaran con algunos meses de edad.
| [ENG] Night Long, is a cat that came into my life a little less than a year ago, exactly on June 5 of last year. For Night Long, I waited for a long time, @yetsimar knew I wanted one, because I had lost fhurer, my first cat (I promise to tell you about him later) so he told me that the cat from the residence where I lived had given to light some kittens, she would talk to the lady in charge, who did not hesitate to give me up for adoption to some of them, I just had to hope that they were a few months old. |

[ESP] Para esas fechas comenzó el confinamiento por la pandemia del coronavirus, mi amiga tuvo que irse a su pueblo, antes de ello decidió colocarle una cinta a quien seria mi gato; paso mucho tiempo, tanto así que pensé que ya había perdido a ese gatito, pero una mañana recibí una llamada, era la señora encargada de la residencia donde vivía mi amiga, diciéndome que podía ir a buscar al gato, mi emoción fue muy grande por fin volvería a tener un gato en mi hogar. Lo que nunca imagine es que el gato era súper arisco y estaba muy grande, ya contaba con cinco meses de edad. Fue muy complicado agarrarlo y trasladarlo a mi hogar, supongo que ya estaba acostumbrado al lugar donde había nacido y compartido con sus hermanos.
| [ENG] At that time the confinement for the coronavirus pandemic began, a long time passed, so much so that I thought I had already lost that kitten, but one morning I received a call, it was the lady in charge of the residence where my friend lived, telling me that I could go find the cat, my excitement was great, I would finally have a cat in my home again. What I never imagined is that the cat was super surly and very big, it was already five months old. It was very difficult to grab him and move him to my home, I suppose he was already used to the place where he had been born and shared with his siblings. |

[ESP] Al llegar a mi hogar, mi familia se sorprendió muchísimo al ver que era totalmente negro, no sabíamos que nombre colocarle, mi papá que es muy ocurrente, pensó en Night Long (larga noche) por ser negro, a mis hermanos y a mí nos gusto y decidimos que ese sería su nombre de ahora en adelante. Al principio fue muy complicado adaptarlo a su nuevo hogar, poco salía, vivía escondido, pero con mucho amor y al paso del tiempo logramos que saliera más y más.
| [ENG] Upon arriving at my home, my family was very surprised to see that he was totally black, we did not know what name to give him, my dad who is very witty, he thought of Night Long (long night) for being black, my brothers and I liked him and we decided that that would be his name from now on. At first it was very difficult to adapt it to his new home, he rarely went out, he lived in hiding, but with a lot of love and as time went by we managed to get him to go out more and more. |

[ESP] Había un problema que nos atormentaba muchísimo, era aquella cinta que había colocado mi amiga para identificarlo, aun permanecía en su cuello, pasaba el tiempo y Night Long no dejaba que nadie se le acercase, intentamos de mil formas quitárselo y nada, hablábamos mucho con él acerca del daño que podía causarle (sí hablábamos con él, pues siempre hemos creído que ellos de una u otra forma entienden lo que le decimos),la cinta ya le causaba daño, si les soy sincera pensé que fallecería, pues ya le costaba respirar.
| [ENG] There was a problem that tormented us a lot, it was the cord that he had on his neck, it turns out that time passed and Night Long did not let anyone approach him, we tried in a thousand ways to remove it and nothing, we talked a lot with him about the damage that he could cause him (we did talk to him, because we have always believed that they in one way or another understand what we say), the cord was already causing him damage, if I'm honest I thought he would die, because it was already difficult for him to breathe. |

[ESP] Sin embargo, a comienzos de año regresando de trabajar vi diferente a mi Night Long en el instante no sabía porque era, luego de visualizarlo por un buen rato me di cuenta que el mismo había logrado quitarse la cinta.
| [ENG] However, at the beginning of the year coming back from work I saw my Night Long different at the moment I did not know why it was, after visualizing it for a long time I realized that he had managed to remove the cord. |

[ESP] Ya Night Long está próximo a cumplir un año conmigo, debo admitir que es un gato que no se deja acariciar, tampoco le gusta que este muy cerca de él a menos que él lo decida así, por eso tengo muy pocas fotos. Pero aún así lo amo y respeto su espacio, es un gato con mucho carácter, muy comelón y sobre todo muy sano. Doy gracias por tenerlo en mi vida a pesar de su carácter y por su puesto siempre agradeceré a @yetsimar por hacer que de una u otra forma el formase parte de mi vida.
| [ENG] Night Long is about to be one year old with me, I must admit that he is a cat that does not allow himself to be stroked, nor does he like it to be very close to him unless he decides so, that's why I have very few photos. But still I love him and respect his space, he is a cat with a lot of character, very eater and above all very healthy.
