Les envío un saludo a cada uno de los hivers que hacen vida en esta comunidad. Tenía algo de tiempo que no pasaba por acá, esta vez les traigo la historia de una gallina que tengo en casa, un tanto inusual en cuanto a comportamiento se refiere, ya veran por qué.
Anteriormente, les he hablado sobre mis mascotas, mi perico cara sucia, llamado Filiberto Antonio, mi perro que creo que es gay, llamado Brando y las cabras de mi esposo, realmente todos un poco extraño jajajajaja.
Les cuento, mi gallina, llamada Romina, salía a caminar por la casa de los vecinos, iba y venía durante el día, supongo que tenía que vigilar al esposo, el gallo Bartolito, ya que este se la pasaba más donde la vecina debido a que es esa casa habian como 5 gallinas más.
Un día no vimos más a Romina, llegamos a pensar que se había ido de manera definitiva de la casa, pues no, resulta que nuestra gallina estaba poniendo huevos, por ende, se la pasaba hechada calentando los mismos.

Previously, I have told you about my pets, my dirty face parakeet, named Filiberto Antonio, my dog that I think is gay, named Brando and my husband's goats, really all a little strange hahahahahaha.
I tell you, my hen, called Romina, would go for a walk around the neighbors' house, she would come and go during the day, I guess she had to keep an eye on her husband, Bartolito the rooster, since he spent more time at the neighbor's house because there were about 5 more hens in that house.
One day we did not see Romina anymore, we thought she had left the house for good, but no, it turns out that our hen was laying eggs, therefore, she was spending her time warming them up.

La cuestion no estaba en que Romina puso unos huevos, la cuestion estaba en el lugar donde los colocó, siempre he visto a gallinas colocar huevos en los patios de la casa o en gallineros, pero nunca vi que los pusieran encima de un horno padero, pues si, así como leen, Romina coloco sus huevos encima del hormo panadero de mi esposo jajajaja.

Después de percatarnos de todo esto, empezamos a sacar la cuesta de los días que llevaba colocando sus huevos, y le pregunté a un primo veterinario que como era ese proceso, me dijo que desde que colocara el último huevo empezaramos a contar 21 días, y así fue, después de ese tiempo los pollitos empezaron a nacer.
After realizing all this, we began to take the cost of the days she had been laying her eggs, and I asked a veterinarian cousin how was this process, he told me that since she laid the last egg we start counting 21 days, and so it was, after that time the chicks began to hatch.
Colocó 8 huevos, de los cuales 3 se le cayeron y se partieron, era increíble ver que Mientras los pollitos no habían nacido, solo se levantaba escasos 15 minutos en todo el día y luego volvía a calentarlos, una vez que ya nacieron no se bajaba para nada, cuando ya 3 pollitos habían nacido, la gallina los cuidaba muy bien, pero un día se le cayeron dos, y esta como madre abnegada lanzó al tercero y se bajó para cuidarlos, pero tuvo que sacrificar 2 huevos que aún no estaban listos.
She laid 8 eggs, 3 of which fell and broke, it was incredible to see that while the chicks had not hatched, she only got up 15 minutes all day and then returned to warm them up, once they were born she did not get down at all, when 3 chicks were born, the hen took care of them very well, but one day she dropped two, and as a devoted mother she threw the third and got down to take care of them, but she had to sacrifice 2 eggs that were not ready yet.
Cuando observo toda esta situación, mi primo me dice que ya los huevos que había dejado no los iba calentar más, es entonces cuando se lo quitamos del horno, y en ese momento mi primo se los agarra y decidimos ver cómo estaban por dentro.
A simple vista los huevos se veían agrietados.
When I observed this whole situation, my cousin told me that the eggs she had left were not going to be heated anymore, and that is when we took them out of the oven, and at that moment my cousin grabbed them and we decided to see how they were inside.
At first glance the eggs looked cracked.
El primer huevo estaba todo amarillo y espeso en la parte de adentro y su olor no era nada agradable.
The first egg was all yellow and thick on the inside and the smell was not pleasant.
Por el contrario, el otro huevo se veía muy oscuro después que se le empezaba a quitar la cascara y es que este huevo le faltaba poquito para que el pollito naciera, `pero ya estaba muerto, pienso que si la gallina no se hubiese bajado, quizás el día siguiente el pollito hubiese roto la cascara.
Me dio mucha tristeza el que no haya nacido, puesto que ya estaba todo formado.
On the other hand, the other egg looked very dark after the shell started to come off and this egg was just a little bit away from hatching, but it was already dead, I think that if the hen had not got down, maybe the next day the chick would have broken the shell.
I was very sad that it did not hatch, since it was already fully formed.
Por otra parte, ya Romina saco a los pollitos hacia el patio, debemos tener precaución con el perro para que no se los coma.
On the other hand, Romina has already taken the chicks out to the yard, we must be careful with the dog so that he doesn't eat them.
Definitivamente que perfecta es la naturaleza como obra creada por DIOS, particularmente no había visto de cerca un nacimiento así y quedé encantada.
Definitely how perfect nature is as a work created by GOD, I had not seen such a birth up close and I was delighted.
