Although the original idea was to talk about dog breeds, I decided to change it, because although I love dogs, I am a person who prefers cats. So I will talk about my 3 favorite cat breeds....
This was a little difficult for me, because I thought that there were only 2 or 3 cat breeds (Persians and Siamese) and that all the other cats were just mixtures, but my uneducated knowledge opened a window when I googled the word "Cat breeds " and I realized that there were many more (I think there are more than 20), among the most popular are the Siamese and the Persian, but there are also the Lebanese cat, the Burmese, the American bobtail, even one called Oriental cat that is very funny because of its long ears, as it has a resemblance to a bat.
But whatever breed they are, all cats are special because of their charisma and their way of being, which has flooded the internet with memes and funny cat compilations. As I said before, I like all cats, but among all the breeds of cats stand out for me 3 that by their way are extremely special, they are 3 kinds of cats: The Siamese cat, the Egyptian Mau cat and the blue Russian cat. Of these 3 I have only had the honor of having 2 Siamese cats and an Egyptian Mau that I stole from a neighbor with food.
The Siamese cat is a breed of cat originating from the ancient kingdom of Thailand, they were brought to different parts of the world from 1880. Within the Siamese breed, there are two subclasses, on the one hand we have the traditional Siamese which is the most common, beige coat with dark brown or almost black face, ears, tail and paws and a robust and stocky body build. And on the other side we have the modern Siamese, a cat with a grayish coat and likewise with darker limbs (in some cases it is also light fur), but unlike the traditional Siamese, the modern Siamese has a more slender and stylized body build.
Some curiosities of the Siamese cats are that they are:
They come from the royalty of the kingdom of Siam (Thailand) from there the root of its name, they were considered cats only of the royalty due to its characteristics made it a pure and sacred cat.
It is a very meowing and affectionate cat, since it prefers the family company that the solitude, although to my cat mimi sugar legusta but to be alone because she hates that they carry her and that they do affection to her, also mimi plays very rough.
Siamese tend to have extrabism, but this genetic defect has been corrected by crossbreeding with other species over the years.
I currently have a traditional Siamese named mimi sugar, and the truth is that it has been a beautiful experience to have her in the family, since she is affectionate and hateful at the same time, but also very playful.
Now let's talk about another cat breed that I love for its beautiful coat color, it is the Russian blue cat, it is one of the oldest cat breeds on record, one of the most visible attractions of this cat is its short gray coat that makes it totally unique, also its almond yellow eyes, which combines very well with the gray color.
He is a slender and elegant looking cat, along with long and tall legs. And like the Siamese, it is divided into two sub-classes which are the Russian Blue American cat and the Russian Blue European cat. It is also an extremely suitable cat for the family, as it likes affection and relating to people due to its calm personality, although it requires prior adaptation if it is to be given to a family with children.
And last but not least, as my favorite breed. We have the Egyptian Mau cat, which clearly with its shape and fur make it an excellent choice to have as a pet. It looks as if you have a mini leopard at home. This breed of cat is originally from Egypt, in fact in the murals and paintings of ancient Egypt, it is very common to find it, and a curiosity is that the word Mau, was a designated Egyptian term meaning cat. This breed of cat began to spread all over the world since it was brought to Italy from Cairo a long time ago, and nowadays it is much more common to find it in America, Asia and Egypt.
The coat pattern of the Egyptian Mau is similar to that of jaguars or leopards, as it has contrasting patches of a base color, which is mostly gray background with black patches, although it can also be found with brown background with black patches. The Egyptian Mau is a very affectionate and playful cat, but at the same time very possessive, it is also jealous and territorial and if neglected for a long time tends to become aggressive, that is why it is not recommended for families with children.

Hola amigos, en esta ocacion compartire con ustedes mi participacion a la iniciativa de hablar sobre las 3 razas favoritas de mascotas. Aunque la idea original era hablar de razas de perros, yo decidi cambiarla, porque aunque me encantan los perros, soy una persona que prefiere mas a los gatos. Asi que hablare sobre mis 3 razas favoritas de gatos...
Esto fue un poco dificil para mi, ya que pensaba que unicamente existian 2 o 3 razas de gatos (Los persas y los siameses) y que todos los demas gatos eran simplemente mezclas, pero a mi inculto conocimiento se le abrio una ventana cuando googlee la palabra "Razas de gatos" y me di cuenta de que existian muchas mas (creo que mas de 20), que entre las mas populares estan los siameses y los persas, pero ademas estan el gato libanes, el birmano, el bobtail americano, incluso uno que se llama gato oriental que es muy gracioso por sus largas orejas, ya que tiene un parecido con un murcielago.
Pero sean de la raza que sean, todos los gatos son especiales debido a su carisma y su forma de ser, que ha inundado a internet de memes y recopilaciones graciosas de gatos. Como dije antes, todos los gatos me gustan, pero de entre todas las razas de gatos destacan para mi 3 que por su forma son sumamente especiales, se tratan de 3 clases de gatos: El gato siames, el gato Mau egipcio y el gato ruso azul. De estos 3 solamentes he tenido el honor de tener como mascota a 2 siameses y un Mau egipcio que le robe a un vecino con comida.
El gato Siames es una raza de gato originario del antiguo reino de tailandia, fueron llevaos a distintas partes del mundo a partir del 1880. Dentro de la raza Siamesa, exiten dos sub-claces, por un lado tenemos al siames tradicional que es el mas comun, pelaje beige con la cara, las orejas, la cola y las patitas marron oscuras o casi negras y contextura del cuerpo robusta y retaca. Y por el otro lado tenemos al siames moderno un gato de pelaje grisaceo y de igual manera con extremidades mas oscuras (en algunos casos tambien es de pelaje claro), pero a diferencia del siames tradicional, el siames moderno tiene una contextura de cuerpo mas esbelta y estilizada.
Algunas curiosidades de los gatos siameses es que son:
Provienen de la realeza del reino de Siam (Tailandia) de alli la raiz de su nombre, eran considerados gatos unicamente de la realeza debido a su caracteristicas lo hacian un gato puro y sagrado.
Es un gato muy maullador y cariñoso, ya que prefiere la compañia familiar que la soledad, aunque a mi gata mimi sugar legusta mas estar sola debido a que odia que la cargen y que le hagan cariño, tambien mimi juega muy rudo.
Los siameses tienden a tener extrabismo, pero este defecto genetico se ha ido corrigiendo con el cruce de otras especies a lo largo de los años.
Yo actualmente tengo una siames tradicional llamada mimi sugar, y la verdad ha sido toda una hermosa experiencia tenerla en lafamilia, ya que es cariñosa y odiosa al mismo tiempo, pero tambien muy jueguetona.
Ahora hablemos de otra raza de gato que me encanta por su hermoso color de pelaje, se trata del gato azul ruso, es una de las razas mas antiguas de gatos de las que se tiene registro, uno de los atractivos mas visibles de este gato es su pelaje gris corto que lo hace totalmente unico, tambien sus ojos amarillo almendra, que combina muy bien con el color gris.
Es un gato esbelto y de apariencia elegante, junto con unas patas largas y altas. Y al igual que el siames, se divide en dos sub-clases que son el gato azul ruso de america y el gato azul ruso de europa. Ademas es un agato sumamente idoneo para la familia, ya que le gusta el cariño y el relacionarse con las personas debido a su personalidad calmada, aunque requiere adaptacion previe si se trata de regalarlo a una familia que tenga niños.
Y por ultimo, como mi raza favorita. Tenemos al gato Mau Egipcio, que claramente con su forma y su pelaje lo convierten en una excelente opcion para tener como mascota. Ya que pareciera como si tuvieras un mini leopardo en casa. Esta raza de gato es originaria de egipto, de hecho en los murales y pinturas del antiguo egipto, es muy rcurrente encontrarlo, y una curiosidad es que la palabra Mau, era un termino egipcio designado que significa gato. Esta raza de gato comenzo a extenderce por todo el mundo desde que fue llevado a italia desde el cairo hace mcho tiempo atras, y en la actualidad es mucho mas comun encontrarlo en america, asia y egipto.
La pgmentacion de pelaje del Mau egipcio, es similar a la de los jaguares o leopardos, ya que tiene manchas que contrastan de un color base, que mayormente es gris de fondo con manchas negras, aunque tambien puede encontrarse, marron de fondo con manchas negras. El Mau egipcio es un gato muy cariñoso y jugueton, pero al mismo tiempo muy posesivo, tambien es celoso y territorial y si se descuida mucho tiempo tiende a volverse agresivo, por eso no tan recomendado para las familias con niños.
En conclucion..
Tener un felino en casa puede alegrarte mucho la vida, sea de la raza que sea todos tienen rasgos y personalidades distintos que lo combierten en el compañero o compañera idoneo, en HivePets podemos encontrar muchas historias de gatos, en lo personal las historias que mas me gustan son las que publica @derangedvisions, sumamente interesantes y fotogenicos.
