Today I am taking you on a walk with Joy around the Dilsberg Castle in Germany. Due to Corona restrictions just around the outer bailey but once restrictions are lifted I'll take you inside. Enjoy the walk :).
We started out on a small trail up in the woods.
First things first...sniffing.
Then of course finding a spot to do business. It had to be down hill lol.
Once Monsieur made up his mind to come back...
...we kept following the trail.
All the way up to the castles garden.
Joy explored several entrances, having a beautiful view through the door.
Once we explored the lower level...
...Joy had a blast running up a small hill.
He looks so funny :).
Way to cute lol.
He enjoyed a nice view afterwards.
Then we left the garden...
...and kept following the trail around the outer bailey.
All the way back in the woods.
Finally BIG BUSINESS was due lol.
Then Joy decided to follow another trail. On the tree you can see the markers that are set for hikers to find their ways around.
He walked all the way back up...
...where we reached this view point. You can see the city of Neckargemünd, Baden-Württemberg in the valley.
After enjoying the view...
...we kept moving back around the other side of the outer bailey.
On this side you see the city of Neckarsteinach, which is in another state, as the river Neckar is dividing Baden-Württemberg and Hessen.
We kept moving along the commandants house back to the garden...
...and left.
One last corner...
...and we reached the parking area below.
