Everybody Needs A Little Bit Of Joy

The days are long, the weather is frosty and we all have Corona fatigue.

So why not giving you a little bit of ☀️ Summer Joy ☀️.

Enjoy watching Joy as he made his first experiences with water and playing with a stick at Marbach-Reservoir, Germany.

He has never experienced anything like this until he was 5 years old. He couldn't run, didn't know how to play, how to behave like a dog.

All because he was deprived by the first owner.

Since we adopted him he lost 10kg/22lbs already and became a joyful Bulldog.

Now relax and let the sunshine in your heart and I hope you have a smile on your face after watching 😊 .

A note from me:

As you can see it is important to never pressure a dog into something.
They need trust and patience when dealing with new situations, just like us.

Also they love encouragement and the feeling that they did something great.
Use kind of a baby talk as dogs tend to listen better when having a less threatening sound in your voice.

I am making me sort of little most of the time. This can also reduce stress with insecure dogs, as an upright posture can make a dog feel threatened too. In Joys case this was the method to gain his trust.

All of this is building the bond between you and your dog that leads to a loyal companion and a full family member.

You will be rewarded with pure love and joy.
