Hello pet lovers community, today I want to tell you the sweet story of a Chihuahua dog rescued from the street. She was wandering the streets for a month, until one of my neighbors saw her and helped her. When she received her she was all sad, down, very underweight and trembling with nerves, because in the street other bigger dogs were intimidating her, she had nothing to eat and could not find a place to take shelter. My neighbor gave her food and shelter while waiting for someone to claim her as their lost pet. But days passed and no one came for her. We tried to find out her age and couldn't but that didn't matter. In her new home, two more dogs and 3 cats live, but she was adapting to her new friends, so much so that she looked like she belonged in that home. As she was given affection, she got closer to people, she gained confidence in her new owners, who already felt affection for her. It was not easy to give her to someone else who could keep her, give her love and care for her. Where she was received, Chispita was already a very spoiled Pincher by her owners, so what do you think? there was no rivalry between them, no fights to claim their territory, no competitions! From the beginning Chispita accepted her new companion who at the same time behaved at the same level, being a noble dog lacking love and affection. So after a few days she was already loved and stayed at home. She even got her name: Dindina. And she was quick to respond to that name. The love of her new owners was very good for her, so much so that she lets herself be petted, she wants to be touched and her belly is scratched all the time. She likes to attract attention and notice why I say so: one day when I was talking to her sitting on the sofa at home with a snack in my hand, Dindina climbed up and almost managed to take it from me, because she is fascinated by sweets, she looked at me with her little eyes and oh, she was pure tenderness. I tell you that she was assigned her own pillow to sleep inside the house, sometimes she changes places one day in the room of her owners and another day in the other room. But after she chooses the place she doesn't let them change her to another one. You can already see that she is setting her personality, more confident. See how she likes to sleep.

Hola comunidad amantes de las mascotas, hoy quiero contarles la dulce historia de una perrita chihuahua rescatada de la calle. Ella estuvo todo un mes sin rumbo por la calle, hasta que una de mis vecinas la vió y auxilió. Cuando la recibió estaba toda triste, decaída, muy baja de peso y temblaba de los nervios, pues en la calle otros perros más grandes la intimidaban, no tenía que comer y no encontraba donde refugiarse. Mi vecina le dio comida y abrigo mientras se esperaba que alguien la reclamara como su mascota perdida. Pero pasaron los días y nadie vino por ella. Intentamos saber su edad y no pudimos pero eso no importaba. En su nueva casa, viven dos perros más y 3 gatos, pero ella se fue adaptando a sus nuevos amigos, tanto así que parecía que pertenecía a ese hogar. A medida que se le daba cariño se acercaba más a las personas, fue cobrando confianza en sus nuevos dueños, que ya sentían cariño por ella. No era fácil entregarla a otro que pudiera mantenerla, darle cariño y cuidarla. Donde fue recibida ya vivía chispita una Pincher muy consentida por sus dueños, pues ¿qué les parece? ¡no existió rivalidad entre ellas, ni peleas por reclamar su territorio, ni competencias!.Desde el principio Chispita acepto a su nueva compañera que a la vez se porto a la altura, siendo una perrita noble carente de amor y cariño. Así que después de unos días ya era querida y se quedó en casa. Hasta le colocaron su nombre: Dindina. Y atendía con prontitud a ese nombre. El amor de sus nuevos dueños le fue de mucho bien, tanto que se deja acariciar, quiere que uno la toque y le este rascando la pancita a cada rato. Le gusta llamar la atención y fíjense porque lo digo: un día que yo estaba conversando sentada en el sofá de su casa con una merienda en la mano, Dindina se subió y casi logra quitármela, porque le fascinan los dulces, me veía con sus ojitos y ¡ay! Pura ternura. Les cuento que le asignaron su propia almohada para dormir dentro de la casa, a veces cambia de sitio un día en el cuarto de sus dueños y otro día en el otro cuarto. Pero eso si, después que escoge el sitio no deja que la cambien a otro. Ya se ve que está fijando su personalidad, más confiada. Vean como le gusta dormir.

She is afraid of thunder and rain, of fireworks, there her little face becomes scared, sad and with her huge eyes, she looks at you to get rid of what she is afraid of. She jumps with joy when you tell her: "let's go to the park" and runs. Imagine going out to play, that happens 2 or 3 times a day. Not to mention when she sees her new owners getting into their vehicle to go out, she gets excited and jumps to get in at once so they don't leave her. She eats very well: concentrated food, chicken and meat. Not fish because she is allergic to it. Anyway, she is already a spoiled of the house. After suffering alone, sad and lost for a while, she found someone to give her affection and love and she was able to regain her feeling of security and confidence.

Le tiene miedo a los truenos y a la lluvia, a los fuegos artificiales, allí su carita se le torna asustada, triste y con sus ojos inmensos, te observa para que la libres de eso que le da temor. Salta de alegría cuando le dicen: “vamos al parque” y corre. Imagínense hora de salir a jugar, eso sucede 2 y 3 veces al día. Ni hablar de cuando ve que sus nuevos dueños se montan en su vehículo para salir, se emociona y salta a meterse de una vez para que no la dejen. Come muy bien: alimento concentrado, pollo y carne. El pescado no porque le da alergia. En fin, ya es una consentida de la casa. Después de sufrir sola, triste y extraviada por un tiempo, consiguió quien le diera cariño, amor y pudo recobrar su sentimiento de seguridad y confianza.

In the mornings she loves it when you say: "good morning miss", she is happy and wags her little tail. And affectionately they call her: "my little apple head".

I wanted to tell you Dindina's sweet story and happy ending, because in the world there are many abandoned and street dogs that need to be rescued, adopted. Many have been mistreated by their former owners and suffer for it. Being without a home where they are treated with love and affection makes them distrustful of humans. It is in everyone's hands to help them. If you see that you can feed, cure and take care of a dog that you see near your home and that is neglected, underweight and sad, not only you will do a good deed and you will feel happy for doing it, but you will allow these animals a better quality of life. And if you can adopt them, even better. If you show affection and love to these animals you can help them not to suffer so much. The photos are my property. En las mañanas le encanta que le diga: “buenos días señorita”, se alegra y mueve su colita. Y cariñosamente le dicen: “mi cabecita de manzana”.
Quise contarles la dulce historia y el final feliz de Dindina, porque en el mundo hay muchos perritos abandonados y en la calle que necesitan ser rescatados, adoptados. Muchos han sido maltratados por sus antiguos dueños y sufren por eso. El estar sin un hogar donde se les trate con amor y cariño hace que desconfíen del ser humano. Está en manos de todos poder ayudarlos. Si ves que puedes alimentar, curar y cuidar a un perro que veas cerca de tu hogar y que este descuidado, bajo de peso y triste, no solo harás una buena obra y te sentirás feliz por hacerlo, sino que le permites a esos animalitos una mejor calidad de vida. Y si puedes adoptarlo mejor aun. Si se les muestra cariño y amor a estos animales se puede lograr que no sufran tanto. Las fotos son de mi propiedad.
