Amigos hoy les traigo una historia sencilla sobre algo que le encantaba hacer a Nagini cuando estaba en casa con nosotros. Un recuerdo de hace varios años que hoy hace que me ponga el corazón chiquito.

Friends today I bring you a simple story about something Nagini loved to do when she was home with us. A memory from several years ago that makes my heart go pitter-patter today.

Cuando llego a mi ciudad la época lluviosa, Nagini comenzó a pasar las tardes en la cama de la primera persona que viera acostada para hacerle compañía, un día, mientras se montaba a mi cama se quedo viendo un peluche que recientemente había llegado a mis manos, al cual tenía un suéter azul con marcas de patas en el pecho. Ella desde la primera vez que lo vio se acostaba sobre el peluche y asi hizo por varios dias hasta que una mañana, nos dio por quitarle el suéter a ese peluche y ponérselo a ella.

When the rainy season came to my city, Nagini began to spend her evenings in the bed of the first person she saw lying down to keep her company, one day, while she was climbing into my bed she was looking at a stuffed animal that had recently come into my hands, which had a blue sweater with paw marks on the chest. From the first time she saw it, she lay on the stuffed animal and did so for several days until one morning, we decided to take the sweater off the stuffed animal and put it on her.

Ese día Nagini consiguió su pijama para las siestas de la tarde, cada que comenzaba a hacer frio durante el día ella buscaba el peluche, se le ponía encima y comenzaba a maullar para que le pusieran el suéter y en la noche se acercaba a mi abuela para que se lo quitara. No dejaba que nadie mas lo hiciera, nunca entendimos porque solo dejaba que ella se lo quitara pero, si puedo decir que esa gata se sentía cómoda poniéndoselo cada que se lo pudieran poner. Nagini ya no esta con nosotros, solo quedo el peluche y el suéter como recuerdo de lo mucho que le encantaba verse bien en las épocas frías.

That day Nagini got her pajamas for afternoon naps, every time it started to get cold during the day she would look for the stuffed animal, put it on her and start meowing for the sweater to be put on her and at night she would approach my grandmother to take it off. She wouldn't let anyone else do it, we never understood why she only let her take it off, but I can say that this cat felt comfortable putting it on whenever she could get it on. Nagini is no longer with us, only the stuffed animal and the sweater are left as a reminder of how much she loved to look good in cold weather.
