Rabbits morning

Today I started the morning by moving rabbits Hippie and Lamb to another enclosure. This is the aviary where Hippy spent the winter. He knows it very well, so he immediately showed everything to his friend Lamb. Dog Romashka was happy! Now she can watch the life of rabbits again!

From time to time I make such replacements when I see that one of the enclosures needs "rest". This is an important point in hygiene. I clean the aviary, treat it with dysentery products, and let it "rest" for a week or longer.

My animals and birds are used to this order and it is not stressful for them. In any case, they end up in an already familiar place.

Of course, this arrangement requires at least two empty enclosures. Very often I am ready to succumb to the temptation and settle new animals or birds in such empty enclosures, but every time I forbid myself to do this. Cleanliness is extremely important because with so many animals we have, any infection can be fatal.

Of course, if I could put the rabbits in an open-air cage without a floor, it would simplify everything. But the problem is that they immediately start digging holes. They can get out of such an enclosure and it will be dangerous for them. So I have to limit them to walking on the grass under my control.

If you want to have a rabbit as a pet, remember that these are very gentle creatures, prone to stress and infections. They need love and care.
