Decidimos ir a una playa llamada Patanemo ubicada en el estado Carabobo, Venezuela. Realmente es un lugar hermoso rodeado de montañas donde se pueden tomar unas bellas fotografías, fueron 30 minutos desde mi hogar hasta el lugar de destino. El camino a la playa fue tranquilo a pesar de que Bolty no es fan de viajar en carro, ya que se pone muy ansioso y activo, por eso antes de subir al carro le di un paseo largo que le permitió hacer todas sus necesidades para que estuviera relajado durante el viaje.
We decided to go to a beach called Patanemo located in Carabobo, Venezuela. It really is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains where you can take some beautiful pictures, it was 30 minutes from my home to the destination. The way to the beach was quiet even though Bolty is not a fan of traveling by car, he gets very anxious and active, so before getting in the car I gave him a long walk that allowed him to do all his needs so he was relaxed during the trip.
Al llegar a la playa Bolty estaba muy contento corriendo por todos lados y revolcándose en la arena, le lleve una correa larga y le puse una pechera para que pudiera disfrutar del paseo con un poco mas de libertad. Al acercarnos al agua su emoción fue única, se lanzó a nadar como si lo hubiera hecho toda su vida, es increíble el instinto que tiene los perros para nadar aunque no a todos les guste el agua.
When we got to the beach Bolty was very happy running all over the place and rolling in the sand, I took him a long leash and put a breastplate on him so he could enjoy the walk with a little more freedom. As we approached the water his excitement was unique, he jumped into the water as if he had done it all his life, it is incredible the instinct that dogs have to swim even though not all of them like the water.
Las personas que se encontraban alrededor de la playa comenzaron a jugar con él, lanzaban pelotas y Bolty las buscaba al mar, todos veían con curiosidad lo mucho que se divertía en el agua y debo confesar que la parte difícil de todo eso fue sacarlo del agua, el solo quería nadar, saltar en las olas y parecía que no se cansaba de hacerlo.
The people around started to play with him, they would throw balls and Bolty would look for them in the sea, everyone watched with curiosity how much fun he was having in the water and I must confess that the hard part of it all was to get him out of the water, he just wanted to swim, jump in the waves and it seemed he couldn't get enough of it.
Durante el día nos refugiamos en la sombra para que Bolty descansará. Nuestras mascotas no deben estar expuestas al sol durante periodos prolongados de tiempo ya que esto podría ocasionar un golpe de calor y deshidratación por las altas temperaturas. Es importante siempre tener agua fresca para mantenerlos hidratados.
During the day we take shelter in the shade for Bolty to rest. Our pets should not be exposed to the sun for prolonged periods of time as this could cause heat stroke and dehydration due to the high temperatures. It is important to always have fresh water to keep them hydrated.
En horas de la tarde fuimos a explorar los alrededores de la playa, nos encontramos con algunas formaciones rocosas en el borde de la playa donde fue tomada la primera foto, la zona también cuenta con un pequeño río donde las aguas son cálidas y puedes relajarte sin preocuparte de las olas. Fue una experiencia increíble, realmente me hizo muy feliz ver a mi perro disfrutando tanto de su paseo.
In the afternoon we went to explore the surroundings of the beach, there are some rock formations on the edge of the beach where the first picture was taken, the area also has a small river where the waters are warm and you can relax without worrying about the waves. It was an amazing experience, it really made me very happy to see my dog enjoying his walk so much.
Finalmente llegó la hora de irnos, antes de subir al carro tenía reservado agua mineral para mojarlo y sacarle un poco el agua salada. Bolty quedó agotado por toda la actividad del día y fue durmiendo en todo el camino, llegamos muy tarde así que no lo pude bañar adecuadamente ese día pero a la mañana siguiente le di un buen baño para dejarlo limpio y listo para otra aventura.
Finally it was time to go, before getting in the car I had reserved some mineral water to wet him and get some of the salt water out of him. Bolty was exhausted by all the activity of the day and was sleeping all the way, we arrived very late so I could not bathe him properly that day but the next morning I gave him a good bath to leave him clean and ready for another adventure.
