Hace días he querido escribir sobre algo que hago en mi trabajo, tengo que dar alimento a muchas gallinas, 🐓🐔 nunca he tenido gallinas así que es algo que hago por primera vez.

Al principio fue algo extraño, pero ahora, después de un mes ya estoy adaptada al proceso. Además, encuentro que tener gallinas propias es muy beneficioso pues, siempre tines huevos de calidad para el consumo propio y cuando desees puedes sacrificar una y hacer un sopa con una gallina de tu propio patio y sin ningún tipo de hormonas inyectadas. 😄 Les voy a contar un poco de como hago para cuidar de ellas, es muy fácil y no me toma mucho tiempo.

Lo primero que hago es tomar un valde y colocar allí las medidas de grano para cada grupo. Para las gallinas grandes y ponedoras, para las gallinas más pequeñas y para las codornices. Las medidas son más o menos así, aproximadamente un kilo de postura y un kilo de maíz entero el lo primero que echo al balde, luego agarro la misma cantidad y la dejo en el envase, este lo coloco en el balde.🪣 Es la misma medida dos veces.

Luego agarro aproximadamente dos kilos de maíz picado, y medio kilo de postura para codornices. Todo esto lo meto en el balde y ya estoy lista para entrar en el gallinero. 😌👍

For days I wanted to write about something I do at work, I have to feed many chickens, 🐓🐔 I've never had chickens so it's something I'm doing for the first time.

At first it was strange, but now, after a month, I am already adapted to the process. In addition, I find that having your own chickens is very beneficial because you always have quality eggs for your own consumption and when you want you can sacrifice one and make a soup with a chicken from your own backyard and without any type of injected hormones. 😄 I'm going to tell you a little about how I take care of them, it's very easy and it doesn't take me long.

The first thing I do is take a bucket and place the grain measurements for each group there. For large and laying hens, for smaller hens and for quails. The measurements are more or less like this, approximately one kilo of posture and one kilo of whole corn, the first thing I put in the bucket, then I take the same amount and leave it in the container, I put it in the bucket. It's the same measure twice.

Then I grab approximately two kilos of chopped corn, and half a kilo of quail posture. I put all this in the bucket and I'm ready to go into the chicken coop. 😌👍

En muy gracioso cuando llegó a la entrada porque ellas me están esperando muy ansiosas de comer y me persiguen en cada movimiento que doy. Tengo que encajarle esl alimento rápido porque sino, no esperan y se ponen a comer directamente del balde. 🪣😅

Hay varios tipos de gallinas aquí, y a estás les gusta pasear por el resto del terreno y echarse debajo de los árboles. A veces dejan su huevos debajo de ellos o simplemente en cualquier lugar en el piso, así que debo estar pendiente de mirar para abajo, quizás me encuentre algunos. 🥚🥚😄

There are various types of chickens here, and these like to roam the rest of the grounds and lie down under the trees. Sometimes they leave their eggs under them or just anywhere on the floor, so I have to be careful to look down, I might find some. 🥚🥚😄

También tenemos codornices o como se conoce aquí, codornas. Estas son aves más pequeñas que dejan huevitos más pequeños y concha es moteada. Su sabor es muy parecido al huevo de gallina y se cocina muy rápido, en unos cinco minutos ya está listo. 😊 Estás aves reciben básicamente el mismo cuidado que las gallinas, siempre tengo que echar postura molida y agua. 😊

We also have quail or as it is known here, quail. These are smaller birds that lay smaller eggs and the shell is mottled. Its flavor is very similar to chicken eggs and it cooks very quickly, in about five minutes it is ready. 😊 These birds receive basically the same care as chickens, I always have to add ground posture and water. 😊

Estas últimas son las aves más pequeñas, creo que les falta muy poco para que estén con las demás pues ya están grandecitas.

These last ones are the smallest birds, I think they are very close to being with the others because they are already big.
